Unless driving mostly in sport mode, I found the 1.5 models lacking in the almost 4000lb BS.

On the other hand, in the Fiesta ST the 1.5 is fun

I was a little concerned about lack of power. But I also know the frustration of driving a faster vehicle on public roads. I read in this forum that premium fuel is recommended, so after using the tank that came with it, I filled up with premium, and I do feel like it made some improvement.

I read somewhere that the oil pump is now gear driven instead of a silly belt. If true, a nice upgrade.

IMHO, this engine should be left for the Escape. The Sport should have the 2.0L as the base and "maybe" something like the 2.3L for the top end ....
I was thinking the 315hp 2.7 twin turbo from my Edge ST would make my wife's BS get up and boogie. When we bought her 2025 they listed a 2.0L online but it wasn't available. In sport mode the little 1.5 is actually fun to drive I'm finding
