I have a bag of plugs and a tool to remove them easily. See my ad for miscellaneous items for sale. Trading the BS today for a Maverick.

I just got my 23’ Bronco Sport Outer Banks Edition. Bought it from my son who got it new. Had the the oil changed at the Ford dealer. I do all this myself. Had not seen this oil plug set up before. Is this silly little plastics thing supposed to be replaced every time you change the oil? There is no way this is less expensive than a metal bolt.
I changed the oil yesterday. Do I need to worry about this?

No need to worry for a one-time reuse. Over time the o-ring could harden or be damaged causing leakage. Cheers!
