Nice, what size of tires are those? Are they 18” rims ? I’m looking at replacing my toyos with the ko2
They are 255/55R18. They ride well and I'm looking to change fewer flat tires on the wife's ride with these rather than the factory Michelins that were on there.

It was low on coolant. I'm not familiar with these closed loop coolant systems (if this is the accurate nomenclature), but apparently I need to check the coolant levels more frequently. This is what was causing both the heater/AC to stop working (yes, need them both in the same day down here in Texas).
Well that's not good for 1.5 or 2.0 Ford engine...I've read somewhere that it's one thing to look out for on them. Coolant might be getting into the engine.

You having a lot of flat tires ? Who said it was low on coolant & that was the issue ? Did you discover it yourself ?

Had 2 flats within first 20k miles on the old Michelins. One was just a tear drop shaped rock from my driveway. I discovered the coolant issue myself.

As DISCOLEG noted, it might be wise to determine where the coolant went. A failed or failing head gasket can allow coolant to pass into the cylinders where it gets burned off. Check the exhaust after the engine is fully up to operating temperature. White and/or sweet-smelling exhaust smoke is evidence of coolant burning in one or more cylinders.

i think, and don't quote me 100% - but the coolant intrusion at the head gasket is on the 4 cyl motors, not the 3. something about coolant jackets on the block and head. apparently doesn't apply to the 1.5 3cyl. i seem to remember watching it on youtube, 'Ford boss me' explained it a lil better. i may be wrong but its a thought.

Head gasket failures are more common on turbocharged engines, including the 1.5L.

in the comments section, he notes not 1 issue with the new updated block. there was another video where he states zero issues regarding this on the new 1.5 dragon motors / bronco sport, i'll see if i can dig it up.
This 2020 Escape (1.5L Dragon engine) owner reported a loss of coolant. Dealership service shop diagnosed as leaking into cylinders around head gasket, most likely due to apparent manufacturing defect on face where the head gasket sits between the head and block. May not be as widespread an issue as with the 4cyl, but still a possibility. Head gasket issues are common with turbo engines.

I never had an issue with a Michelin Tire & have used them for many Vehicles , though I have switched to Cooper Tires , because of cost .

Put cardboard under the BS over night & do it as soon as you park it for the night . That coolant had to go somewhere . Why it shut down the Havoc system could be a programing fail safe , yes you use hot coolant for A/C to temper the A/C to what is programed for temp. set point . For that to work , there would have top be a control valve for Coolant passage to the Heater Core , which I find odd , but maybe the actual temp. control, is a valve , throttling Coolant into the Heater Core.

Definitely keep an eye on it & even find some way to measure levels , hot & cold . The Recovery Tank should have a hot & cold levels .

Let's hope it's fixed on BSs
