I bought the cargo mat with my Outer Banks. But since the Outer Banks has a rubber cargo floor, I don't really need it. I'm in Traverse City Michigan, but I travel often to the Detroit area and could drop it off. IF your wanted to meet halfway from Grand Rapids, we could do that too (who doesn't...
Update: In April I ordered a Big Bend. Then I saw an Outer Banks and decided to upgrade. I ordeded the Outer Banks in June. I got my Outer Banks in September, but was told by my dealer that there was no word on the Big Bend. Today, more than a month after I got the Outer Banks, ordered in June...
I decided to figure it out. IF you start on the driver's side, where there are two clips. Once you unclip that the passenger side comes out easily. I used a spudger on the driver's side and it didn't take that much force.
I swapped out the auto-dimming mirror for a regular one and put it all...
Kinda dumb, he waits until he gets stuck to switch to the proper mode on the Bronco. Then for the Subaru he goes in in the correct mode. Kind of a moron.
The woman is cute though.
I don't want to use a radar detector, but I also want to know how to remove that panel. I want to take off the auto dimming mirror on my outer Banks and replace it with the regular one that has a switch. But the power for the auto dimming mirror goes up into that cowling, and there's no visible...
I have an addendum. #7 Brake hold. I learned about this from this very thread. I never really understood what it was until I tried it out the last few days. I absolutely love it. It makes me enjoy a stoplight.
The Outer banks gives you much more than the BB, even with the BB package. The OB package only ads the premium sound, so to me that's not worth it. I think the OB with no package is the best value.
It uses gas to idle after about 7 seconds. 4-8% according to Jason, and he's pretty good on the engineering.
Also, pay attention to the way our cars restart. For some cars you can hear the starter whine to restart. Our just make a small grunt. They restart by firing the cylinder closest to...
I bought one too, but there is no adhesive. It fits exactly, but the is nothing holding it in place.
I'm going to try some of the thick acrylic tape to see if it works.
I don't like the Auto Dimming Mirror on my OB (there's no override switch), so I am swapping it for a regular mirror. The regular mirror is going to cost me $90, so I'll ship the dimming mirror to you for $110. Half the price of ordering one form Ford. If you happen to be in Traverse City...
I have an Outer Banks, I think it's an automatic mirror, and there's no switch. Onlike other autoimatic mirrors I've had, there is no override button.

I don't think, the modes are sticky. IT seems like Mud and slipper are situational and should reset, but Sport and Eco are preferences and should be sticky. Mine always resets to Normal, and I can't find a way to change that in the settings.
I've have had my Outer Banks only three days, but I've already learned a few things that contradict what others have said on this forum.
1. I don't hate auto start. Perhaps it's because most of my life I have driven a manual, but I find the auto start stop no trouble at all. I don't immediately...
Mine showed up on the Palsapp the day before it arrived at the dealer. Mine shipped 8/17 and arrived today in Northern Michigan. Less than 4 weeks. If you're in a major city it might be faster. Mine took 10 days to get from southern Indiana to Traverse City, about 300 miles.
