Project Farm has a couple of videos on bed liners. Climate seems to be a big factor, some brands are good in hot weather but poor in cold weather, and vice versa. IIRC the Raptor brand held up pretty well overall.
And your point is? Do you honestly think they should go out and purchase a whole new vehicle because they mildly criticized a single feature?
If that person's post offended you, then take it up with them. Or maybe go find something better to be upset about.
Nobody here is complaining lol, most are saying that the glass is nice to have but could be larger. I'm not going to buy a much larger and more expensive vehicle just because one minor feature isn't perfect.
I don't understand the hyper-defensiveness of some people here. No vehicle is perfect...
As others have said, the opening is too small for groceries and most common items. I could definitely live without it. However, there are a few situations where it comes in very handy:
Camping/tailgating. Instead of leaving the hatch wide open all day, I can just leave the glass open and have...
I did not like how the stock Michelins felt in snow on my Big Bend, but I've always had Blizzaks on my previous vehicles so I'm pretty biased. I'm planning to try the Michelin CrossClimates once the stock tires wear out, they seem to be a happy medium between regular all-seasons and dedicated...
Looks like you have a combination 4-way/7-way harness, there aren't many good options to mount something that large. You would need to cut a large notch out of the bumper to make it sit any higher.
Do you plan on towing any trailers with 7-way wiring? If not, maybe have them swap it out for...
I've slept in mine several times now, using a twin-size air mattress with the front seats folded forward. It's comfortable enough for me, and the slope towards the hatch isn't bothersome. I'm only 5'5" though, so YMMV.
I've been considering it as well. The Maverick would fit my needs better, and I could get a fully loaded Lariat hybrid for the same sticker price as my BS Big Bend. My only concern would be potentially losing my 0% financing from Ford.
Yes, 2016 Street Triple 675. This pic is in the Catskill mountains in upstate NY, I was heading back from New York Safety Track.
I'd love to take a trip down to Deal's Gap some day. Have fun and ride safe.
They work fine in the rain for me, but my door handles are flat plastic, not painted like on the higher trims. I'm not sure if that makes any difference.
Where did you find those steelies? I've been looking for some to run snow tires.
Edit: Nevermind, I found your other post in the Tires & Wheels section. Looks very nice!
