You sir are my hero. I just went out and started it then renamed it. Still don’t understand why Ford doesn’t rename it, like they do on a few of there vehicles. Ford is still not off the hook, but this issue is.

I have an iPhone 13, I have tried to change the name on the phone, and there is no way I can find to do it.
Believe me I have been doing this for years now to some extent, on my 2016 F150 I changed the BT pairing name using Forscan. I sold the truck the get my wife the expedition.

Wow what a statement. My current F150 has a little over 300k on the clock. My 1996 explorer went to 330k before the odometer went out. My 1997 F150 hit 250k before I got rid of it. I have had a lot of Fords well over 100k without any issues just basic maintenance.

I am pretty sure Forscan can do this. It is called Quick Boot. Other then that no other ways I know of. If you use Forscan save the as built file to reload it when you turn it in, or just leave it that way the sales people won’t notice.
Most likely just drilling a large hole in the tank and letting it fill a bucket. It is far easier then siphoning out of a tank.
