2025 - New MPC engines, bumpers, grill, wheels, relocated rear cam, 12.3" digital instrument cluster, 13.2" infotainment display, Sync 4, enhanced Co-Pilot 360+
More standard equipment & lower price...uniquely styled compact SUV under $26k USD...decent value plus it doesn't look like a generic...
...Consumer Reports has commented on the Sport being quiet in their reviews, other reviewers have mentioned the same.
While it is possible that the MPC engines could produce less sound/noise I have not witnessed either displacement running so I cannot really comment.
As for road noise, the new...
The biggest '25 BB differences I have been able to determine are:
New MPC engine
Digital cluster standard
Ford Co-Pilot360 standard
Sync 4A 13.2 inch display standard
Not sure if any of those drive Forscan differences.
Same 1.5L MPC engine in the '24 Escape having problems.
Overheating issues results in replacing short block. (Multiple complaints on low mileage engines)

Misfire problem and cylinder damage. (Documented TSB)...
Maybe it's just because it's foreign to me but I prefer the old cluster screen on my Bronco more than the new one.
Same with the infotainment system.
Not a fan of touchscreens and tech overload in cars though
I am hoping the 2025 MPC does it suffer from the problems Ford is currently facing recalls and several class action lawsuits. X-plan with an ultra low mileage lease. If it turns out to be reliable I can always buy it. Otherwise, I can walk away and get a new vehicle.
...was trying to sell me a 2024 “curiosity” vehicle with 2500 miles. We all know the scam of “curiosity” vehicles. I said I read there were too many issues with the older model year engines and wanted a 2025 with the newer MPC engine after reading this forum. Also comes with Sync 4A
Cheers! ?
Just got a 2025 1.5L.
Is this the new MPC engine?
Is it dual injection, thus will not have intake valve fouling and other problems of the previous engines?
Whenever I plug my VIN into a decoder it lists engine as Dragon.
yeah the new MPC engine...haven't seen any meaninful performance improvements - jury is still out there on what this means long term. Even Ford didn't really share much about it...
...lot less room in it than the boxy little BS Sport. Headroom and legroom up front is far, far better in the Bronco Sport than in the Escape. But the Escape is a nice little jellybean car and is made in the USA. It's quiet and refined for what it is, and it has the MPC 1.5L. Perfect for my...
...should be reimbursed under Recall 25S02. A good quality AGM Battery seems to be best for ‘21-‘24 Bronco Sports.
2025 Bronco Sports with their MPC Engine (1.5L and 2.0L) presumably have different systems (meaning the above info doesn’t entirely apply to 2025s) however what seems odd to me is...
