My only concern (and if mat never happen) is down the road they fail and need replacing. But again, they seem like quality items and I imagine they should last fairly long
I actually find it easier. When I went to pick my BB up I couldn't get it closed at first unless I dropped. Now I just give it good push down as it comes down and it closes fine
