Haha. Awesome. We need a thread to see what people use it for. Stuck my passengers phone in there the other day. Although I live in AZ and pretty much anything will melt in there.
Saw this on Amazon and thought I’d give it a try. Secured it by cutting a couple small command strip pieces so it wouldn’t slide around during heavy acceleration or breaking. Haven’t found a real functional use for it yet, but I’m sure something will come up. ?

Added a RotopaX Jerry Can for potable water storage to my cargo rack. Had to customize the additional bracket to make it work. I think it turned out fairly well.
I got it from www.etrailer.com. Highly recommend that website. They have been great.
I also have this alternate setup as well. Let me know if you have any questions!
They are X-Bull. Almost the exact size to double stack in the MaxxHaul rack. But it still works out. Was able to use two of the provided mounts for the rear and zip tied the sides to the rack through both handles. Take two minutes max and scissors/knife to access them when needed...
I searched around forever trying to figure out a way to mount recovery boards to my Thule crossbars. Finally came up with a pretty inexpensive and somewhat custom solution. Cost me $160 total for the setup. If anyone has any questions, let me know.
Haha. I agree. They are just aggressive enough without going too overboard for a daily driver. I don’t not think it is enough to get recalibrated. It’s hard enough to stay 1-2 mph within your desired speed that you won’t even notice it. Now if it was 5 mph, that’s a different story. And as far...
For your requirements, I think you picked the exact right tire brand and size. You could go with the 245/65/17 AT3’s, but I think it would uncheck a couple boxes, although it would check a couple more as well. You would lose 2-3 mpg’s with the 245’s and your speedometer would be off 1-3 mph...
Oh nice! The Ford dealership quoted me $650 with the alignment and adjusting the headlights. They are actually excited to do it as they are waiting for the kits they ordered from 4WP themselves. And they said in no way will it void any suspension warranties. ??‍♂️
Thanks for the info! Ya, apparently my kit is now on its way to 4WP. So it should be a couple more weeks and I’ll have it. ??I ordered it a while ago. Not going the RC route. I know it will cost around $800 for the kit and install. Just want to make sure it is worth it.
Alright, I have a leveling kit on order from 4WP. I’ve been going over the pros and cons of installing it. Might cancel my order. Wanted your opinion.
Pros:
Higher ride height
More ground clearance
Looks cooler (objective)
Better braking (situational)
Cons:
Possible gas mileage decline

I found this. Can’t confirm what it would work on though. Looks like it would do the trick for those wanting a locked option.

Looks great! Love the Area 51 color and the deflector. I was on the fence about which style to go with. But both options look good. And I am right there with you on the off roading. Although I’m trying to get out there more.
