Custom Infotainment Screen Bezel

Saw this on Amazon and thought I’d give it a try. Secured it by cutting a couple small command strip pieces so it wouldn’t slide around during heavy acceleration or breaking. Haven’t found a real functional use for it yet, but I’m sure something will come up. ?

Ya, it does fit nicely in the groove and fills up the random space behind.

For sure. It just needs two to four very small pieces on the front and back of the bottom and you are set.

Haha. Awesome. We need a thread to see what people use it for. Stuck my passengers phone in there the other day. Although I live in AZ and pretty much anything will melt in there.

If you place the phone there in the landscape orientation, it fits decently. Covers up the very bottom portion of the phone and can tilt forward when driving I believe. But if you are just sitting and both wanted to watch something on your phone, not a bad option. Especially on larger phones.

My initial experiment was with stacked 3M Command strips, which turned-out too thick.

Good to have confirmation the thinner single-ply strips work well.

The thinner single ply strips I used make it look almost factory. I used maybe four quarter inch squares.
