Black ice can take out most anyone if you are not aware of it and even if you are it has a lot to do with the driver's actions.
It's also not vehicle selective though some vehicles may fair better than others.
I don't know if the Bronco Sport has a "smart charging system" where the ECM/PCM control's the charging system, I would assume it does.
Charging System
The PCM controlled Smart Charge charging system determines the optimal voltage setpoint for the charging system and communicates this...
The Ford Maverick has the black screen issue with the instrument cluster, there is a recall for the Maverick. The Maverick is almost the same as the Sport, wondering if it's the same issue.
NHTSA #24V140
Count me as one of the AAA statistics.
I used AAA several times when my Badlands had it's original FoMoCo lead acid battery.
Have not needed them once since the battery was replaced with a Motorcraft AGM.
Nice looking rig. I've slept in the back a few times as well as tent camped, I don't think I'd enjoy going up and down a ladder especially after campground activities (drinking). For me it's much easier to jump in the back or fall into a tent, besides laying in the back is much closer to the...
Jim Farley has been in charge of Ford for the last 3 years of Fords most recent worst qualiity years.
On this board their are people that say they will never buy a Ford again, this isnt the only place where that sentiment is felt
Farley knows he F'd up and is working to change things. We'll see...
How does giving managers a bonus improve quality?
These days their is so much pressure to keep the line moving, schedule is everything and things can get missed in design, engineering and on the floor.
Why not offer incentives to everyone for quality improvement, quality is a common goal and is...
I think power steps would be your best bet, you wouldnt get that much difference in height changing tire diameter unless you wanted to run really low profile tires which would make your Bronco look kind of funny.
Besides replacing the tires would cost almost the same as some of the power steps...
There is a recall for certain 22-23 Bronco Sports for the steering gear. There is a link to check your vehicles VIN to see if it's part of the recall on the web page below...
Your behind lol. I've had PPF on all the pillars of my Badlands coming up on 3 years now.
Seriously, you are doing some interesting things. Looks good.
I had that happen on my 2021 Badlands, it was the brake light bulb. If you fix it yourself the black trim piece that's adjacent to the tail light housing can be tricky, if not careful the plastic tabs can easily be broken.
Car and Driver shows the interior with a large touch screen. Interesting to see if that happens.
