  1. 2022 BS OB - fast blinkers, exterior lights working properly (I think)

The rear lighting is as follows: A. Upper rear turn signal lamp B. middle brake lamp C. lower reverse lamp. When I had the fast blink issue it was a burned out brake light bulb If all the bulbs are good as you say, then the issue is apparently more complex.
  2. 2022 BS OB - fast blinkers, exterior lights working properly (I think)

More times than not when you have the fast blinking turn signal issue the brake light bulb on the side that is blinking fast is bad and needs to be replaced. The tail light assembly has to be removed, removal can be a bit tricky because the black plastic trim piece adjacent to the tail light can...
  3. Exhaust rattle, dealership won't cover under warranty

If you are mechanically inclined and can find a rental bay with a lift it would make checking the exhaust system much easier, you can move around underneath the vehicle and bang on the exhaust with the palm of your hand or fist and find where the rattle is coming from. I had to do this a few...
  4. Would you trade in the Sport for the Big Bronco? Why or why not??

Yes, if the deal is right. Every time I've taken my Badlands to the dealer for service they ask if I would consider selling it, they say the Badlsnds is in high demand, I should ask what the offer is, the full size Broncos look so good and make the Sport look like a toy.
  5. Looks like my water pump is leaking, any suggestions on what to do?

Your Sport is still under warranty, take it to the dealer and have it fixed. You can go to any Ford dealer for service or warranty work.
  6. Move up (maybe) to a full size Bronco?

When you see the Sport and the full size sitting next to one another, the choice for me is obvious, full size is the way to go, the Sport seems like it's just a place holder.
  7. Brake issues under 10,000 mile Badlands

With the pads wearing so quickly it would seem like the brake fluid in the resovoir would have been on the the low side. I've been to some other oil change places in the past and they would top off the brake fluid resovoir which would throw off what I was using as a brake wear indicator, I had...
  8. Adding a Service Record to FordPass?

Typically the servicing dealer adds the record to Fordpass, sometimes it takes a few days. In my case I'm waiting for my update from last Friday.
  9. Oil change/Tire rotation today

Did the same yesterday, the difference being I went to Quick Lane at the Ford dealer and used points to cover the cost.
  10. Oil question

If the store isn't that far, just return the oil and get what you've been using, doesn't seem like a big deal.
  11. Brake issues under 10,000 mile Badlands

Over the almost 10k miles did you happen to do a tire rotation or when checking your oil did you also look at the coolant and brake fluid levels? You possibly could have noticed that there was a potential problem early on instead finding out to late. I have a 2021 Badlands with almost 29k...
  12. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Just came back from the dealer getting "The Works Package". The bonus is when your FordPass points cover the cost.
  13. 2024 Bronco Sport RV & Trailer Towing (GVWR / GCWR) Guide From Ford

The Escape can tow 3500 Lbs and the Maverick 4000 Lbs. The Sports HOSS tuned offroad suspension is why the towing capacity is less.
  14. 2024 Bronco Sport RV & Trailer Towing (GVWR / GCWR) Guide From Ford

That just reconfirms Ford dropped the ball. The BS can't really tow anything worth towing except for motorcycles, jet skis or a side by side. The Maverick at least has decent towing capacity.
  15. What's up with the light up numbers on the side of my door?

Welcome to 1980, that's how long it's been since Ford introduced the security code feature.
  16. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Thumping/Flapping noise

Interesting, I have a 2021 and have not heard any thumping or flapping noises. I also have not had any noise issue with the parking brake cable or have exhaust fumes in the cabin. I did have electrical issues, they were resolved with a new battery, since then I have not had any problems other...
  17. Rivian shocks with R2, R3, R3X reveals! $45K starting price, 0-60 under 3 secs, 300+ miles range

Rivian needs to do something, they bleed cash, investors don't like billion dollar losses year after year.
  18. MotorTrend Bronco Sport Badlands Review: Big Engine, Big Performance

In 3 years the MSRP on the Badlands has increased almost $10,000 dollars. I have a 2021 Badlands, it was a pretty good deal when it was in mid 30k range, my out the door price including TTL was less than the current 2024 Badlands MSRP.
  19. Blacked Out

I have an Area 51 Badlands, I don't mind the white letters, besides I can't see them when I'm driving, lol.
  20. Bronco Windshields

If the possibility of the windsheild cracking is what's keeping you from buying a Sport your really just kicking tires and not ready to buy. Any vehicles windsheild can chip or crack its not exclusive to the Sport My windsheild is doing fine, I've had my share of stone hits with no large chips...
