Sometimes when I see service histories like yours I wonder if the dealers replacing things just for a profit. I'd try to retail this unit and get another.

For a part to have an acceptable failure rate, it needs to be exponentially lower thand "the vast majority is good." Lot of people on this board have complained about battery failures from the day BS was introduced.

I drive my 23 BL daily, so should be sufficiantly charged. The mobil tech said my battery tested a little low and placed a charger on it before the updates.

Generally third party service agreements aren't as comprehensive as factory. And many dealers won't accept them.

My dealer Woody Ford in Madill, OK is about 80 miles away, but they are going to have a mobile tech in OKC on Monday and will stop in Norman and do my update. Can't say enough about this small town dealer. They are a big-time fleet dealer and won't miss a sale over price. No high pressure...
