Used to live in NYC. Its kinda the cost of street parking a car there. At least the bumper's on these aren't painted so scratches wont be as obvious, and you can replace it without having to pay a body shop. I'd just budget getting a new one every couple of years if I still lived there. Best bet...
Personally, I just dislike chrome in any amount. I've blacked out the emblems of every car I've ever owned, with the exception of one Honda right after college that got red type-r badges because I had a phase.
I called about a dozen or so dealers with cars I wanted listed while deciding if i wanted to order. They were all sold, or demos, but I let them know I was serious and ready to buy if they got one in or if something happened. Lo and behold a day or so later and one of the sold cars suddenly had...
In that case I'd start calling around to other dealers if you see the spec you want listed. Nothing to lose. You have no skin in the game and Ford can't give you a guarantee when/if you're going to get your order.
Dealer I was about to order with wanted $2500 non refundable with the exception...
It's super impressive. I don't plan on running e30 in this car regularly or even semi regularly. Asking was half curiosity, half me wanting to ruin my buddy with a stock GTIs day once and figured go for broke.
Funny you posted the mustang times. My VW (car 621) is faster than every mustang on...
~E30 isn't for the octane boost. Unless you're changing the timing with a tune you can't take advantage of the additional octane. e30 burns cleaner and and contributes to better combustion efficiency and helps with cooling the cylinder heads which improves performance in hotter temperatures...
I know. Just not signing up for additional forums. I've lurked some other boards and no issues reported. Thought there might be some people who switched over or own both. Pretty puritan crowd over here I guess.
I do care, which is why I asked. Maybe someone here knows the sport has a different fuel pump or injectors from the other vehicles with the same motor and its a bad idea for whatever reason, or someone can confirm the powertrain and fuel system are the same as the other platforms that people...
Thanks for posting. Does Ford reuse part numbers? Googling shows similar trim panels from other vehicles with the same number. Looks like you can find them for mid 300s (reduced from the same msrp) from other dealers online but cant verify if its the cargo management trim piece or non since both...
What? I wanted to see if anyone else had tried it since its popular on other ecoboost motors (in addition to turbo motors from many other manufacturers). Christ, I'll reword the original post.
I understand what the lawyers say, wanted to see if anyone had personal experience. I know Focus RS/ST and Fiesta ST guys do it and the same warnings from Ford apply. Guess I'll wait to see what the tuners start doing.
Picked our BL+BL+360+Tow yesterday. Super happy to have it. I know folks with orders in on other ford products getting cancellation notices.
The dealer I got it from in Michigan had several other badlands, and a ton of other trims, on the lot that I think are available.
