Did someone actually post part numbers with that price? Was looking for a post wit them and couldn't find it. I could see it being 2k if you were paying dealer labor to install maybe, but none of the necessary parts should add up to that much unless Ford's parts markup rivals Mercedes.
I know. popping off interior panels like that generally isn't too difficult with trim tools unless ford has done something I'm not expecting in terms of how they attach. getting the part number to order them may be a bit of a pain though, might need to track down a vin for a car that had them...
anyone have the part numbers for the interior panels and the shelf? you have to be able to order them through the parts department even if they aren't accessories. popping the interior panels off and snapping new ones on cant be too difficult
I was shocked when he sent over the sticker and it was exactly what we wanted. Cactus Gray Badlands w badlands package, tow and 360. Only thing it has we weren't putting on our build was the floor liners since I really like weather techs. Was back and forth on cargo management, wouldnt mind the...
Was in the process of ordering our badlands today and the salesman confirmed today was the last day to build. While we were getting ready to finalize another dealer called me with the exact spec we were going to order ready to go on their lot. Apparently the guy who ordered it never showed up...
Why would the taxes from the purchase state matter? I've purchased 4 or 5 cars from out of state and only paid taxes for the state I'm registering the car in.
I didn't, my wife decided she wants the badlands (and got a big work promotion) so that's what we are gonna go with. The dealer offered to sell us the demo (exact spec we built previously) but its too soon for us. We don't mind the wait til summer, really making the purchase for something that...
Our local dealer offered us the demo we test drove at sticker plus the 500 rebate. Cactus Grey badlands w badlands package, 360 and hitch. They'd just gotten it in a couple days earlier so it had less than 100 miles.
My wife and I test drove both and were underwhelmed with the 1.5 (did not try sport mode). Looking it up, the acceleration is on par with my wifes 01 escape v6, which is disappointing and we felt it was noticeably rougher. The 2.0 felt good, power was well suited for the weight of the Badlands...
Do you know if start stop turns off any auxiliary devices? I run a hardwired dashcam and radar detector in my other car and start stop causes both to reset, so I have to manually disable it off every time I start the car. (Will eventually change the coding to permanently disable it)
Hey I'm Mike. Been lurking on the site for the last few months as we look to replace my wife's 2001 Ford Escape. It was her first car and she's had it since new. It only has 50,000 miles. She generally hates how generic crossovers have become so the timing on the Sport's release has pretty much...
I live in downtown Chicago and my current vehicle sees 90-95% city. Not sure what vehicle he's expecting to soak up road bumps around here. Bouncing around is pretty much unavoidable unless you're talking about something ultra lux. No car with 250 crank hp is overpowered in 2021.
.
s2000s didnt even make 250 hp stock and only 160 lb-ft... not exactly 400. I used to have an RSX-S that revved to 8k. Tons of fun but no real way to add significant power in the way you can on most modern turbo motors with just a tune. I dont recall any RSX-Ss or S2000s that got over (or near)...
The irony is turbos are replacing displacement. You can get 2 liter engines making over 400hp from the factory these days. Those were V8 numbers not that long ago.
Not commenting on the rest ;)
All my bronco would see is a basic tune, tint and maaaaybe a clear bra. I don't need it to win races, just overtake on the highway without any drama. My vw is the car I take my mod bug out on. (So far- Tune, Downpipe, Intake, Intercooler, Engine/Trans mounts, tint, blackout emblems, roof rack)...
