The "why" of it is a much more complex issue than is generally presented. There isn't one single villain or reason, there are many reasons why gas is high right now. It sucks, but we have to live through it.

I went with 4 JBL GTO629s for my Big Bend along with the mounting kits and adapters. I'll use foam sealer and a mat behind each one. Everything is on order, and I'll report back after installation.

That was why I preferred them. I don't want something that looks spindly. The Drag wheels remind me of American Racing Torque Thrust Ds, a classic rim that's my favorite. But it's modernized and much less beefy.

Touren TR9 Drag DR-72 I'm leaning heavily towards the Tourens. Both are 18" wheels. I'm installing a RC bull bar in matte black up front and a matte black step bumper in the rear, so I'd like the wheels to match these accessories.
