After syncing the handheld garage opener to the Homelink, I then had to hook up the actual garage door motor to the Homelink by the 'learn' button, which wasn't in the Owner's manual. Luckily people have figured out the sequences for many of the different garage door models.

I've had my 2023 outer banks for a couple weeks now and I'm averaging around 26-27 mpg, mostly short city driving, frequent braking and stops. I do put it in sport mode occasionally, but most of the time it's in normal mode.

I have a legacy 1.5 HP model 696CD/B. I just tried what you suggested, and I got the rapid flashing light on the Homelink but then nothing else, so I’ve reset the buttons by holding buttons 1 and 3 for 10 seconds and will keep retrying. It sucks it has to be this tricky sometimes

Thanks for the response! One of the cons that I’ve heard on this forum is wind noise and stability in the wind, can you comment on that? Noise won’t be that much of a problem cause I’ll be cranking that B&O sound system lol
