Yes that would explain it; there are two different flare options. Duh, I should have thought of that when I first posted. I got the ones that have the fake nut/bolt design, not the smooth ones. Different flares, different mounts - though both are made by Bushwhacker.
Yep says Bushwhacker right on the flare, and it is the same Ford OEM option on the ford.com build site as a dealer installed option. I ordered it for our new '24, it didn't come in when the vehicle did, so we took delivery and then the Ford dealership sent it to us when it came in... so I had to...
I just installed the Ford/Bushwhacker flares on our new 2024 today. The front flares go over the OEM flares but the back ones require removing the OEM flares and install directly on the vehicle. I did notice the install instructions were updated 8/14/23 and are different than earlier versions...
I don't know what system the Bronco Sport has, but A/C evaporator and condensor problems are very common on the Mustang forum. My 2017 Mustang's A/C went out the first year and was replaced under warranty. Ford A/C components are evidently not very reliable.
The white letter ones are rated 108 higher load rating (2,205 lbs) than the non-white rated at 104 load rating (1,984 lbs) so it is a heavier duty tire. It makes sense that it weighs more; probably rides a little rougher too with stiffer sidewalls.
It looks like the 104 rated one is the...
You did not mention how much ongoing preventative maintenance you have done, but if you haven't, at 102k miles your original plugs and coils are certainly shot so of course it's misfiring. A DIY mechanic can change them out in less than an hour easy on these vehicles and it is a cheap fix. Do...
I wonder if this will work for the new style keyless entry on 2024 models. It is a dealer installed option so there will be no code listed in the manual or under the passenger footwell.
I've wanted a Bronco Sport since they first came out, but am happy with my Mustang so didn't pull the trigger until this year when my wife needed a new car. We tried to order a '23 model this summer but just missed the order window and had to wait for the '24s to come out. We ordered one a...
Well I had an original build date of 10/16 and just checked.... they've kicked it to next week 10/23. I wonder if this is related, and I'll get a projected build date next week for the week after that? And the week after that etc, until this ends.
My Mustang is the Ecoboost Premium so I guess that's why I did not need to add it as an option. I was not aware the other Mustangs did not have it and that is was only part of the premium plus package. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the clarification. I guess my confusion comes from my 2017 Mustang that has Sync3 and navigation was included without having to upgrade an option. Things change.
We are looking at the build page on ford.com and I can't figure out for sure if the Sync3 that comes standard includes navigation, or if we have to order the Ford copilot360 assist option to get navigation. Can anyone confirm if we have to get the 360 assist option to get navigation, or does it...
Hi Zach,
I just got on Ford dot com to try a 2024 build and notice there are no accessories available on the build such as seat covers, pet barrier, rear seat console vault, and standalone keyless entry; all of which were on the 2023 build offerings. Is the build page not complete yet, or are...
