I'm guessing you had to do some trimming to fit those.
How's the lift?
I had an OB with HRG 1.5" which was right and tight. All needed hardware and made no noise.
I just traded up to a BL and I'm taking my time looking at which lift would be best. The HRG didn't level the front so that always...
Omg. I'm so done with this pompous thread.
Yes, I live where there's a lot of snow and I'm on the road in the morning before the plows. I've come to a stop, and then kept going...literally. Powered through plenty of drifts. No issues whatsoever. I have standard rubber floor mats...my seats and...
I had a 2012 edge that started putting burnt oil up through the breather because it was overheating.
The dealer said it was common. I asked if they would change the oil and he said there was no way to do it. "So what's the solution?" I asked. He said "wait for it to fail and we will replace it"...
Not an expert yet but I was leaning towards the Rival plate (flat, light and minimalistic) along with a bash plate from Rally Inovations. Then JCR for the cat, underbelly and fuel tank.
Still waiting for rock rails that don't drastically reduce clearance.
I have a 1.5" lift and the tires are 245/65's.
I think my next set will be 235/70's.
The 245's seem to make such a light vehicle float on snow and water.

Wish it had another 12" of cargo space. Some issues with the whole shifting lag/noise thing.
But she's sporty, good off road, fun to drive and running strong.
I'm speaking out of left field here but,
If you have a BL, the only thing this offers that you don't already have is skids for the cat and the passenger side floor.
Covering the cat isn't a bad idea but if that gets torn you picked the wrong line and have bigger problems to deal with. Lol
The...
Yup. I think I grounded them to where the battery grounds to the body.
Snaking the wire under the dash was fun. Lol. There is an opening to go through the center
I wired mine into the cabin fuse block #3 with a switch under the steering column. That way they are on when the engine is, with the daytime running lights. And I can turn them off if I want to. Really glad I did it that way.
It doesn't look like it covers the fuel and brake lines in front of the gas tank unfortunately.
And just going by the pictures it looks that the engine skid plate drops down some? That might not work with any of the bash plates.
At least their making parts for us, and their cheap!
Thanx!!
Aluminum? Better than nothing I guess. The BL skid is like 1/8" plate steel...
That with the Rally Inovations bumper skid would be awesome. But that would be around $600 for both
The HRG is awesome and trouble free. Installation is not bad but definitely need a variety of tools and some mechanical knowledge. Check out the Install on YouTube. They make it sound easy though
