I did #3 with a small out of sight switch on the steering column. They're on when the engine is unless I want them off.
The side markers are only on when the headlights are. The headlights always have power and the DRL's turn off when using the directionals during the day.

Got the lights on ebay, $20 for a 4 piece set.
I thought the lower grill looked good so I had to make a bracket out of a 1" aluminum stock strip that I picked up at the hardware store. I didn't want to drill larger holes into the plastic.

I think I'm going with a 235 next anyway. The 245's pull pretty hard in ruts and have a tendency to float (hydroplane) over rain and snow since the BS is such a light vehicle.
Great for crawling though.

That's great to know. I have 245/65's and was thinking about doing 70's next but with hesitation. I think my next tire change is going to be 235/65.
