To quote you from a reply you just made on someone else's thread: "Who the frick do you think we are. Service Technicians?....take it to the dealer, stupid..."
If your own contributions to the forum are junk, don't get upset when you get it in return.
When you tried to clean it, did you use a...
Anyone drive a 2021 Badlands with the Badlands, towing, and 360+ packages installed? Bonus points if you have a build date of 11/20. I would LOVE to get your as built backup files (or even just your VIN).... I'm scouring the internet for VINs, but I'd prefer to have actual backups since values...
So I noticed about a month ago that I was missing most of my instrument cluster menus. I still have the trip summary screen (shows miles, mpg, and time), the fuel economy screen, the music/now playing screen, and my TPMS screen. Everything else is missing. Below are pictures showing what my...
The dealership I bought from let me test drive a nice Badlands. They didn't even ride along with me, they turned me loose solo. I hooned the shit out of it on and off road. Turns out it was someone's special ordered BS. Not surprised, though. That dealership sucked.
Mods doing the Lord's work. Turns out my recommendation wasn't even the right spot. They moved it to cosmetic upkeep, which is obviously more appropriate than the technical section that I suggested. But I don't think much about cosmetic upkeep. I've never washed my BS.....
You're posting this in the Marketplace where people list things to sell. You'd be better served posting it in the Technical section under Tires, Wheels and Brakes: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/forums/tires-wheels-brakes.21/
But to answer your question, what you're describing sounds...
I'm assuming you're both looking for a professional shop to do it, but if either of you get desperate enough you can come to my house in Midlothian and we (or me) can install it. I put my HRG kit on without catastrophe. I'm a mechanical engineer with amateur wrenching experience if it makes you...
Disclaimer: I haven't looked up the weight of every RTT, but most if not all RTTs + crossbars will exceed the dynamic load rating of 100 lbs with the moon roof. If that's something that's important to you, a RTT might not be for you. If you're not sure, search the forum for posts about max loads...
I installed a Dirtcom Trail Swing spare carrier. People have already posted pics of it installed, but I haven't seen any pics of how close it can fit to the back. I used the deepest pin position and it has just enough clearance from the bumper.
I have a dual channel ThinkWare U1000. Front camera shoots 4K and I've been able to pull plates from video. It's bigger than I wanted, but doesn't obstruct my view. It runs on a capacitor instead of a battery, so it will hopefully withstand the Texas heat this summer.
Do it, I'm interested to see what it looks like. Who cares what some clowns on a forum think? It's your car, do what makes you happy and let the naysayers cry into their keyboards.
Heads up, I think it depends on the tire. My Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 245/65R17 spare won't fit even without the foam pieces. It rests on the edges of the tire-shaped bowl formed into the body. It would probably fit if I took out the insulation matting, but I don't care to try.
