The United States has the largest economy by far. No one else comes close. It also has abundant natural resources.
The economic power of the U.S. is immense and could easily be used as a weapon.
The only reason countries such as Mexico and Canada believe they can threaten, demand or dictate...
Thanks for responding.
I should have said that the performance was the same when the tires were new.
Compared to the set we had on the Escape, which we used for three seasons as well, the overall performance is substantially different.
The performance of the Blizzaks on the Escape did...
We use a set of Bridgestone Blizzak DMV2s on our Badlands during the winter months here in Wisconsin.
The current set are on their third and last winter.
We bought the Blizzak DMV2s because we used the very same tire (a different size) on our 2019 Escape Titanium 2.0 AWD and they were rock...
I would invent and patent such a technology/concept with the goal of charging any other brand to use it, which will likely be the case in the future.
I would then ban the use of such technology in my own vehicles and use it as a selling point over the competition.
Does stop/start have anything to do with this?
We have about 26,000 miles on our 22 Badlands and haven’t used stop/start once.
We had the recall performed about 6 weeks ago and haven’t experienced any problems since.
Our Badlands does not have an AGM battery. I do carry a Noco just in case...
Other than the original brake issue that was fixed by Ford, my 2022 Badlands hasn’t had a problem.
Is it fair to say that most problems have been with 1.5s?
The main reason to buy a Badlands is the 2.0L Ecoboost. It feels significantly better than the 1.5L. It’s like driving a different vehicle. Just a better experience overall.
Before getting our 2022 Badlands we had a 2019 Escape Titanium AWD with the 2.0.
The dealership didn’t have any Badlands...
I’m curious about the performance of the 2.0 after the reduction in power and other modifications.
It looks like it now features port fuel injection as well as direct.
I could not consider anything other than another Badlands as I really don’t care for the 1.5.
I’m happy but not completely happy. It’s been reliable, but the same can be said about my previous Fords (2016 Fusion and 2019 Escape).
Ford needs to work on interior quality. Too many cheap plastics with rattles and other noises.
I agree that it doesn’t need a drastic refresh just yet. However, it does need improving in some areas.
This is what I would like to see:
Better interior fit and finish. Too many cheap plastics causing annoying little rattles and other noises, especially by the center console.
More durable...
You’ll have to excuse my ignorance but what do people mean when they say they have trained their car?
I assume that if you put your foot down the car will give everything it’s got?
It would be dangerous to only give mediocre acceleration because someone typically drives slowly.
Hey everyone!
We were driving along and hit a particularly rough bit of road and something randomly dropped from under/behind the glove compartment.
Anyone know what this is?
Thanks!
I don’t know how you guys living in big cities deal with it. Nothing could make me move to any one of them, especially now that your political leaders embrace crime and have contempt for the police.
