Ford using inferior parts due to shortages? Poor assembly?

We will definitely look the vehicle over very closely and take it for an extended test drive to make sure there are no immediate or obvious problems. Our 2016 Fusion had no mechanical problems whatsoever, and our current vehicle, a 2019 Escape, has had zero mechanical problems.

I agree. I’m about to place an order for a Badlands and it’s a little worrying. The number of these reports, which are similar in nature, is concerning.

We’re about to order a Badlands from our local dealer. All they require is a $100 deposit with no other obligations. They said we can opt for any deal/incentives Ford or the dealership offers in the time it takes to get the vehicle. Is that standard procedure?
