When my dealer replaced my Fusionās windshield, they ordered the glass and had a contractor install it.
When a windshield is replaced is there an increased risk of corrosion because of the way it is removed?
Isnāt it cut out?
If my Badlands has paint chips and other issues, Iāll give my dealer one week to fix them properly before I walk. I am not putting up with defective paint from day one.
My 2016 Fusion had a few paint chips after 35,000, but nowhere near as bad as the OPās BS.
My 2019 Escape, which has about 37,000 miles on it, has a few paint chips but nothing as bad as the OPās. In fact, the Escapeās paint has held up really well.
Weāve taken plenty of rock hits.
Is the...
I see.
I can accept minor issues because nothing is perfect, especially when dealing with mass production. However, this is the kind of thing I consider to be unacceptable. It should not happen.
Ford has enough experience building cars to know better.
Certainly does not look good.
Can you tell what that particular part of the roof is made from? Iām wondering if itās some sort of plastic that uses clips.
I would assume that models without the moonroof use one large sheet of aluminum or steel that is welded to the frame?
Sounds like a terrible idea. It would compromise structural integrity, be unsafe and probably uninsurable.
I also doubt thereās much interest, if any, in swapping roofs.
The right and left speakers on the dash are 1ā (25mm) tweeters. The center speaker is a 3ā (80mm) midrange driver.
Thatās why it sounds like vocals are coming from the dash.
The speakers in the front doors are 6ā (160mm) midwoofers.
The rear doors contain the same 1ā tweeters and 6ā...
I donāt know if anyone has already posted this. I received this message today from Ford:
Dear A,
We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Today, we wanted to give you an update on the status of your Bronco Sport Badlands⢠order.
Unfortunately, continued supply chain...
I had wondered about the quality of 2022 vehicles considering all of the problems manufactures are experiencing.
Iām happy to see Ford is doing a good job with the Bronco Sport.
Hopefully mine will be well made.
When I had my Ford dealer put full synthetic in my 2.0 Ecoboost Escape, they charged me $60 instead of the usual $40.
Made no difference. We change the oil every 5,000 miles anyway.
Iād stick with the regular Motorcraft stuff.
I think this is everyoneās nightmare.
I would be extremely disappointed if my Bronco Sport developed a series of problems and let me down so soon after getting it, especially after waiting months.
The waiting around and lack of communication can be frustrating to say the least.
I understand...
My dealer said most people buying the Bronco Sport only care about what it looks like and nothing else.
I think people who have a genuine interest are a small minority, which might be why people generally donāt or wonāt wave.
