On windshield #4 in 2 years highway driving. They are 2000.00 in Canada. Owned Fords all my life. I've never seen a windshield crack so easy and often. Thankfully we have insurance but still 200.00 deductible each time.
I got 38,000 kms, approximately 25,000 miles out of our Falkens . Very disappointed. Highway use, just premature tread wear. They gave me the run around on warranty. Asked for pictures, I provided them. Zero help from head office.
Mine is doing the same. I'm thinking I will just block the line going to the camera. I'm out of warranty and can live with manually cleaning the camera once in a while.
Many dealers haven't adjusted since covid pricing. They overpaid for trades when there was no new inventory available. Rebates on new 2023 models now. They will take some big hits soon.
I've seen a couple threads about leaking washer fluid but none in this area. Mine is leaking from the drivers side front & also the center and dripping through the shield. It leaks without even using the pump. I suspect it's leaking from the line going to the camera. That has to be the only...
I wonder if they changed something? I have the hood insulation, checked adjustments and bump stops. It's annoying and may eventually become a problem. Aluminum flexing thousands of times will probably crack at some point. After warranty of course ?
I have the Ford one. No change in ridiculous hood vibration at freeway speeds. It's so bad I've had passengers ask if that was normal. Of the 20 or so Ford's I've had this is the only one that does it. Reminds me of some of the old Mopars I've had. Hood pins were required for safety ?.
Didn't watch the video but I know from my days as a dealer all chip type mods were detectable on the diesels. I can't see these being any different. You're modifying a computer = traceable. I know a kid that secretly chipped his dad's 6.7L, it blew up on dad. Our tech informed a very peeved dad...
Hard yay! Ours is Area 51, I will be buying these. If they came in black from the factory and someone painted them white we'd probably be thinking WTH? ?. As always though, to each his own.
I'd go with wrap. Cheaper and easy to return to stock if you or a future buyer decide you don't like it anymore. I have Area 51 with carbonized Gray. I'm thinking black would look better and blend in with the windows and pillars.
I only talk about it when asked and that is more often than I expected. Having owned many high end classic show cars through the years I was used to answering questions about my rides. It does surprise me when I get that many questions about a newer vehicle. We bought a nice Mercedes cabriolet...
I am old too. ?. I was a Ford dealer for many years, just sold and retired. My biggest challenge was finding staff that were passionate about their jobs. We did have a great team overall though. Always had service loaners, can't imagine functioning without them. Some of the horror stories I've...
