Ha yes. But way easier to apply and keep up with. Guess I meant those traditional ceramic coatings in a bottle. They have their place I suppose but was never my thing.
Not a ceramic fan. Anyways have to stay on top of it to maintain it. I like a good si-02 coating. Adams h2o guard and gloss is my go to. Great shine and it does offers just enough protection from marring of the paint when washing the car. Also goes on easy, I reapply every few months when I'm...
What was the fix all the other times you brought it in? What exactly did they fix on those visits? Or did they not find the broken canister on the first visit? Could have hit road debris for that damage to happen. It's more common then you think weather you knew it happened or not. I know others...
I use H2O Guard and Gloss from Adams Polishes. Great product. Provides some protection, and lots of shine. I find applying this product every few months does a great job keeping the paint looking good and does help with hand wash paint marring. The car doesn't get nearly as dirty either and...
Was this an official Ford email? I was under the impression Fords maximum coverage was 8yr/150k miles. Also they have a payment plan but it's not a subscription, It's just equal payments to pay off the service contract. $25 a month is intriguing, please provide a link or more info.
Labor rates are getting stupidly expensive. A $1,200 fix to me doesn't warranty a new car. My brother is a Toyota die-hard Land Cruiser nerd and he has had to bring it in for repair, same with his Honda Odyssey, no car is without issues. I think the quality has been lacking on Ford's part the...
Get an "exclusionary" service contract. Nothing is bumper to bumper and it's not a warranty. Look at the exclusions list for non covered components. Ask for a copy of the actual contact and not the brochure. Ford is good, AGWS Compass, Protective. There are a lot of shady companies out there...
That'd the problem with a forum. Everyone that has an issue goes looking for a solution or an opinion, they end up here. Think about how many THOUSANDS of bronco sports are on the road with zero issues. If you go looking for complaints you will be sure to find them no matter the manufacturer...
I can see it both ways. It's their inventory. I wouldn't want to be told how much I could sale something for that I own. We live in a consumer/ capitalist society. But as a consumer you have to use your best judgement when making a purchase, paying markups on new cars is a losing proposition...
Local dealer has my ideal full size Bronco on the lot. 2 door, v6, lux package, green, hardtop, badlands......10k markup, the thing is collecting dust at this point. I hope their floorplan catches up with them and charges then crazy interest on it.
I have done around 4500 mile on my Big Bend this month. The 360+ is the best feature and the driving factor for getting a bronco sport, AWD was also a must. The only situation the 1.5 lacks is cruising at 78mph and having to gun it to pass. It will get going but just not quite as swift, it gets...
So are you waiting on an actual fuel injector? Or the recall parts?
The recall part is only a drain tube and a ecu update.
Run the vin yourself to see if it's listed for the recall or not.
Did owners start this class action or did the law firm $?$?
I said it before in another thread, the fix with the drain tube is an absolute joke. That's a duct tape repair Ford needs to fix the actual problem, the injectors themselves. Maybe this lawsuit will force Ford to actually come to with...
Do my own oil changes every 5k. Motorctaft synthetic blend and motorctaft filter. I get the oil and filter at Walmart for around $35 total. With 5k intervals I'm not concerned about the oil breaking down or fuel dilution with these direct injected engines.
I had the pads on my escape replaced under the recall, hands down the dustiest pads I have ever had. Even track pads I used in the past didn't dust that bad. Factory 2022 pads seems fine, they dust but nothing out of the ordinary.
Over $1k seems like a cash grab. Never trust a dealer shop, it's a profit center.
Under normal conditions a 30k. Service would be an inspection, oil change, and a air filter.
Special conditions, if your towing, at 30k miles it recommends changing transmission fluid.
Every 3 years change...
