I do t know if there is too much difference in the OB vs BB wheel well. If there isn’t, I went to the 245 with my 18”, but I also put on a 1.5” lift.
take it to a tire place, have them put on some test sizes and see if there is any rubbing.
I got a set that I’m about ready to install. I have other lights that I am installing at the same time, so I got a 6 switch/controller. I was just going to drop my raptor lights into the switch and turn them on/off manually. The set I got came with a 10amp fuse tap, so if you decide to splice...
I have the same issue!
I’m 6’5” with a short torso, so for leg room I put the seat fully back and up. I’m comfortable sitting, but the arm rests are a bit too low. I end up resting my left elbow on the window sill. A driver seat drop down arm rest on the right arm would be very...
The funny part about it is it sits in the same place that the RC Nudge bar blocks when installed. The nudge bar install only says it “may interfere” compared to the 20” bar install saying “not for vehicles with adaptive cruise control”.
I purchased the Nudge bar, wanted the round lights but were...
I have an update if anyone is in the same boat as I am.
In this case where I have 2 lights that have 3 beam settings and share a common ground -
1. put each beam setting on its own separate relay switch.
2. Run the original ground to the first switch on the relay
3. Bridge the ground to the...
Nice build! I’m about ready to get started on my lighting venture, but I’m running into some grounding confusion with a set of my lights, so I completely understand the anxiety, especially after seeing all the discussions about the electrical nightmare the BS is.
I’m looking to add a nudge bar...
I haven’t heard Discount Tore since my days in Colorado. Moved to NorCal and had to get used to saying “America’s Tires” instead.
Anyway, I’ve been going to you guys for 20 years. Last week even to upgrade my tires after installing my lift. Always great service
Hey all,
To start off, I’m originally a Jeep Guy, so don’t judge me. Electrical on a Jeep, and adding auxiliary lighting on an old CJ was as easy as splicing so whatever power supply you wanted.
On that note, I’ve never had to use a control box with multiple relays for a rocker switch unit...
I’ve had my RC on for 2k miles. Haven’t had any issues. I had a week before I could get in for re-alignment, so I did some re-tightening and re-torquing the day before alignment, and thus far no issues here.
Instead of waiting spacer pads, I went to Home Depot and got some 1/4 inch steel mesh...
Thanks for the info. Nice carbon fiber inlays too. I’ve seen them, but not as clearly displayed as your photos.
I’m assuming you have an android phone? I know those mirror correctly via the link you have setup. But iPhone mirroring doesn’t. The dongles I’ve seen to mirror transfer iOS apps into...
Hey all,
I just wanted to get some feedback and recommendations for some Wireless CarPlay dongles.
also, is a single necessary for CarPlay if you’re using the ATT cellular plan for the car? Is there a way to connect to car play via the cars Wi-Fi?
thanks for help/recommendations
I have the same sound. Kinda sounds like a mixture of pebbles spinning in an empty tin can + a playing card taped to a bike frame to flap against tire spokes.
Saw in a recent post that the diagnosis was a “loose/misaligned shift cable”.
Trying to get mine it (BB/6k miles) to have it looked at...
I was able to get a 245/60r18 on mine with a 1.5 lift with OEM 18’s. I tried a 255 and it got pretty close to a run with the top of the strut/lower spring mount. Kit had me grind down the lower strut so it wouldn’t catch the drive arm, but not the top.
I didn’t feel comfortable chancing the...
I never thought of that, thanks!
In regards to the single contact point, in not concerned with the hitch, I’m more weary of the mount. I’ve seen a few “supposed” of the tire frames bend heavily over time, specifically from the main post that makes the 90 degree cut into the hitch. Granted, a lot...
Happy new Bronco Sport owner here, but I’m going MOD crazy trying to have fun with a new model line that not a lot of modifications are designed for yet. One thing I miss about being a Jeep owner (especially in Colorado) was going to the Pick-n-Pull lots every first weekend of the month to go...
I’m 6’5”, and I’ve found my Big Bend to be fairly comfortable. I have long legs and a shorter torso, so I ended up elevating my seat all the way up and then all the way back.
I’m used to driving with slightly cramped legs, but my setup now has me sitting like I used to in my wrangler...
