Feels like it’s coming from the drivers front tire area. Usually when you hit small bumps like pulling into a plaza or similar. Sounds like loose end link, steering shaft and doesn’t do it all the time. Intermittent clunk. Have same thing, same lift and everything is torqued to spec. Just had...
Ok so got it fixed. Hopefully for good. I noticed after I got it back two weeks ago from the dealer who had to have a body shop take it to replace the roof panel. I noticed the driving was off since I picked it up. Felt like more rolling resistance. Thought maybe since I’ve been driving an...
Traction control are on. Even turned off there’s no difference. No stability light until vehicle is damn near sideways. It’s driving straight that’s my issue. The rear feels jouncy like bump hop on solid axle rear. Turning into traffic and accelerating makes a bind/clunk like feeling In the rear...
Seeing if anyone has had any similar issues. 22 badlands with 7k. On dry roads the rear ended feels bouncy over bumps which I just chalked it up to the vehicle since it’s always been that and same with the torque steer feeling when trying to pass people. It’s been aligned twice.
Now we just got...
I believe their motto is.
If you want your vehicle to feel like it has 10x the miles as it already has, buy a Ford. Like going to the shop weekly or waiting months for parts, well then Drive a Ford.
These things aren’t that fuel efficient with an overland setup. I get same mpg as my V6 Tacoma with the 2.0. I can’t imagine it being any better on the 1.5L with lift, tires, weight etc
Every off-road item whether it’s lights or a lift. Say for off road use only. It’s a liability thing. Not a drivability thing. You guys way over think things on this forum
My gti/Rs were tuned and driven daily. Never an issue. I don’t have that same confidence in these motors. Dealers can also see the flash. Ford is hard enough to get warrantable items warranteed.
You’d need extra mounts for this. The exterior panels are paper thin. You’d need one to come off the rear of the rack and mount into the hitch receiver for any support.
My satellite radio was never hooked up. But defaults to satellite ratio screen every time I start it and then the please subscribe prompts keep popping up until I can change the source. Super annoying. Also sounds like shit in any vehicle I’ve ever owned with it. Can’t see paying for low bit...
You shouldn’t have more noise. What kind of noise are you getting? You may get a little more road noise. Turn lock to lock etc and see if anything is touching. Eyeball it and see
