Happens to me anytime the headlights are used and then I park. Have to open door and use fob to unlock/lock to get it to turn off. Dealer ordered a headlight switch. Another part on indefinite backorder. Another one of the myriad issues with this thing
I think it’s the way the 3cyl is tuned under 2300 rpm. Feels like someone letting out the clutch and then trying to not stall by giving it gas. Is loud chatter and delay in power. Putting in sport mode gets rid of this feeling. Going off of escape 3 banger I have as a loaner. It feels terrible...
So I have a 22 BS BL and since I’ve had it the last 7ish months, it has been in the shop for one thing or another. It rattles, buzzes in the interior. Exterior panels fit and finish, paint are subpar. This is my first Ford vehicle, but second new vehicle in the last year that has been highly...
Spacer lift rides firmer since you’re preloading the spring. Retains most of the factory driving characteristics. Small abrupt bumps/imperfections in the road/trail are going to be more noticeable from this. Regular driving and off-roading is fine with spacers, but do lose some travel. Gives...
Did my oil at 4800 miles. I had fuel dilution already and less than ideal viscosity. These newer direct injections (Ford, Honda, etc) that are straight direct injected and not a mix of port/di get blow by and oil dilution. DI sprays super rich on start up. To try to help get up to temp. You can...
I should’ve done this instead of the HRG lift, but was backordered then. I have so much front rake it makes it look like just the rears lifted. No one wants rake in a lift. Was told it levels it out which it doesn’t like the FRL setup. Lift looks good on there.
Make sure your spotters know the trail and know what points to avoid direct contact under your vehicle. You have to drive straight over most things since the approach angle is awful with the BS. I know nothing of the modes in the other models. But even running mine in regular mode I haven’t had...
The BL is the only one I considered. Is setup for off-roading. The others you can but I wouldn’t. I’ll leave it at that.
Either way the AWD system is great and am guessing is similar on the 3cyl just nowhere as aggressive. Even in standard driving the AWD setups will do everything you need for...
Continental and then pirelli are the worst tires I’ve ever used. Also some Goodyears. Any vehicle that comes from the factory with them, I try not to leave the lot until I have some real rubber on them. My last three vehicles I’ve swapped tires before even coming home
AS/S adds to battery failures and shortened life. Constantly cranking isn’t a good thing. The decrease in battery life is also caused by the car always being is standby mode for remote start. This happens in most newer vehicles. Plus Ford is using regular batteries and not an AGM in the BS.
