I never had a warning but the damn thing comes on seemingly at its own will. A couple days I have it, then it's gone without me (knowingly) turning it on or off. I have also noticed when it's on and I pare my iPhone, it remembers it... until the auto hold goes away, then so goes my iPhone as...
Powerstop sells a kit (on Amazon) with drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads front & rear (if I'm not mistaken) for about $250 or so. I've used their kits on my 16 Focus and 18 EcoSport and plan to do the same when these wear out on my 21 BB
Actually, I was able to run my wiring behind the grill. I did need to remove the airbox intake horn and the panel to which it was attached. A panel clip removing tool, a 10mm socket & ratchet was all I needed. Then again, these were aftermarket floods I mounted to the front/center of the bumper
Had a similar situation, but only when idling more than 5 or so minutes. Being a "mod-a-holic", the second mod I did on my rig (the 1st was an afe intake) was a Flowmaster FX muffler. Never had an exhaust smell issue after that. I "think" it may have been due to the fact that the exhaust tips...
When you get your new clips, also get some 3M double-sided tape (PN 03609), place it on the inside lip of the openings. That will (1), stick the flairs in place and (2) add an ever so slight thickness to the whole shebang and the clips will actually snap into place. Worked for me, your milage...
That "auto hold" feature you mention, presumably a green "A" show up when it is engaged. On my rig, it's there for a couple days, then gone, comes back a few days later. I find it annoying and would prefer to simply disable it. How can one turn it off, is it in the vehicle settings?
I've been using touchless automatic car washes for about 20 years here in the Western NY area (had the monthly plan most of that). I've been going every Monday & Friday (more often in the winter months) and have yet experienced any ill affects.
A local icon in the hot rod community I live Paul VonStraus who’s been stripping for 50 years did that in 25 minutes. He asked for $80, I gave him $100
Only the turn signal indicators inside the rig flash fast, emergency, brake, front & rear all work fine. Thinking about it though, I wouldn't mind the brake lights flashing, better at getting those "hinney hugger's" attention
