  2. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

Update! They covered the sensor and did the CSP update. How simple was that? What really irritates me is they sang a completely different song on Friday. It felt like they were extorting money from me. I had a different service writer today who said if there's no damage then it should be...
  3. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

No. The sensor had been going off and resetting itself for about 1 week. Then for the last two weeks it was off. When I dropped it off this morning for the update on the infotainment system and a diagnostic, the service writer said unless was done through damage, it should be covered. That's not...
  4. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

ACtually, they did rotate the tires. In the notes on the paperwork, they noted that it was relocated to the rear and would not reset. I am grateful for all the responses on here. I can see a fight with Ford if they don't honor the warranty. My service writer was on my side but they told him...
  5. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

Actually the dealership replaced the tire through my insurance. The TPMS wasn't affected. I will look into my insurance.
  6. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

I haven't tried this. The tires are nitrogen filled and I am not sure if putting regular air would make a difference. I'm thinking probably not. This also takes me back to maybe the body module has malfunctioned since it didn't recognized a different tire in that location.
  7. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

Exactly. It's under the factory warranty and also an insurance policy Ford sold me with EG Assurance.
  8. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

OK. DT said they have them for $62.00 and if everything goes south I will just get it there.
  9. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

I haven't but I have given that thought. I did, however, call my insurance company and the adviser said that it should be covered and to have Ford call them and he would "help" them understand. Either way, I should be covered. I think I will call DT and see what the say. I guess the most...
  10. TPMS Failure...Warranty?

About three weeks ago, my front left TMPS began going in and out of service. Finally it just stayed off with dash light reminding me constantly that it isn't working. I had an appointment for oil change, tire rotation, CSP 24B47 update and the TMPS evaluation. They did the oil change and tire...
  11. Sync 3 (Infotainment Update): Customer Satisfaction Program 24B47

You are correct in that your are dating yourself, lol, and Emily Leticia is one of Gilda Radner's incarnations. You are correct in that Emily used the phrase " Never Mind." Apologies. However this is Rosanna:
  12. Sync 3 (Infotainment Update): Customer Satisfaction Program 24B47

I'm not irritated. I was, or thought I was, responding to Karen being told it could be done over the air or they would charge for it. They offered to come to me. However, if I misunderstood, then in the words of Rosanna Roseanna Danna: "Never mind." Or my other, most used excuse, is OMS. Old...
  13. Sync 3 (Infotainment Update): Customer Satisfaction Program 24B47

Those asshats at Ford must think we didn't read the notice. IT's not an over the air procedure and it certainly is FREE! I would go to the dealership and ask the manager to read the notice to his employees. Irritating. Good luck.
  14. Sync 3 (Infotainment Update): Customer Satisfaction Program 24B47

After reading other post about the inoperable Sync...the last time I tried to update it, like others have posted, just sat there spinning.
  15. Sync 3 (Infotainment Update): Customer Satisfaction Program 24B47

I received this notice in the mail yesterday. I will call them and see if they want to come get it. My wife is away visiting family and I have her car to use. And BTW they can change the oil and check on that TPMS on the front left wheel that keeps going off and then resets itself.

    Thanks, Xjeeper and DWG.
  17. Duck

We were at a fireworks show on the 4th. The traffic leaving took longer than the fireworks lasted. While sitting in the parking lot, a fellow Bronco Sport owner approached me and gave me a duck. She said it was a "thing people were doing and she was passing one along to me." I have never heard...
  18. Monument Valley, Utah.

Upon my return I had gotten 33 mpg. Now back at home it varies between 28.5 to 30 mpg. Mostly the 28.5 because where I live is not flat. However, my BS BB only got 26.2. I am well pleased. Part of the difference may have been the bigger tires (245'2) and the stupid 1.5 inch "lift". I am not...
