We are looking at a Bronco that is listed on a dealerships site as “in transit” and they are telling us they do not know when it will arrive. They said it’s part of the “chip shortage vehicles” and they have no way of knowing.
However, they do have a window sticker linked. I tried punching in...
i am still seeing a few listing msrp minus the $500 rebate. Still crossing our fingers the Edge fix isn’t going to be a big deal and there will be a few left in June.
that is very similar to what i did when I got my Lexus IS. Took it right off the boat, out from under a dealership that changed the price on me at the last minute because I wouldn’t be using their service department (they were in another state). Closer dealer matched the original quote.
yep, that’s going to help sell the edge. Just have to get Ford to figure out why it does this weird thing when we start it periodically. It turns over a bunch of times and doesn’t start, then starts right away when we turn the key off and back on. Can’t sell it like that. Pretty sure it’s a fuel...
I am watching autotrader and cargurus numbers on the exact model we want and they are dropping. We can’t afford one until we sell her edge. So it’s looking like it may be better to just order when that happens.
I am wondering if they have completely stopped shipping new Bronco Sports (and other models) to dealerships as a result of the chips.
a salesman told us they “have no clue what new vehicles will arrive on trucks” I have to call BS BS on that :)
if the head unit has a port, there are cameras for less than $20 all over Ave easy to install. Just did one on my Jeep. However, we are looking at the big bend model now. Probably have to wait until they get this chip issue taken care of before we buy one.
Just wondering if there is an input on the back of the dash/stereo head unit (sync) to allow for a front camera to plug in. I just noticed a badlands with a front camera.
