definitely helps. I just checked BFGs site and it does look like there is an option for the KO2s in 18” that are 30.5” (265/60r18)
wouldn’t these work with the right offset wheel and the lift?
If you have upgraded to to aftermarket 18” wheels (preferably black) please post your pics and thoughts.
Are you happy with the swap?
curious if it makes a big difference.
our plan is to do the 1.5-2” lift and 31” bfg ko2s on our big bend.
I’m wondering how much lift you guys are netting after instal.
anyone do some measurements before and after? (With original tire size on during the measurements)
If you have, please list which lift kit you installed as well.
thank you

I’m guessing this is what he’s referring to
yes. The BS we purchased did not have the tow package. We wanted that option, however the inventory issues made that difficult. When I started researching this, I found that Ford equipped the models with the tow package option with the heavier sway bar.
A member snapped theirs pulling out of the driveway. It did have something to do with the lift or install though.
I would disagree that it handles like a boss. It’s not too bad. We just drove to the Oregon Coast and the Smith River area has some great curves.
I’m not looking for the BS to...
I sent you a pm a while back asking about the sway bar issues and no response.
another member on here stated, one of the issues with lifting these (like the rough country lift) causes problems with the sway bar end links. They actually cut the end links down and rewelded them. I don’t see...
Oh, okay. Thank you
At this point I have been able to calm down a bit. I am curious to see what Ford decides to do with the Bronco in the next couple of years
Yeah, i am not very knowledgeable about transmissions. Like you said, as long as it is gtg, we are happy… For Now.
I am pretty sure she will lose her mind if a check engine light comes back on. ?
Getting it back and being reminded of all the cool features it has put a big smile on her face.
They said it was the valve body. I think he told her they want to drive it a little to make sure it is good to go. She will probably talk to him today. Ironically, I will be there Friday morning to drop off a work vehicle. Hopefully we get it back before the.
Thank you!! She got this response at the end of the day. I am hopeful we can get it back by the end of the week.
I’m not sure if it is better that the valve body was bad and not the transmission, or visa versa. I am also very interested to see what they can tell us, as far as a cause.
From...
Update: The dealership says,
“ Good morning, the tech is removing the valve body to inspect and if it checks out ok then the vehicle will get a new transmission. This is an update as of 11:30 AM this morning from the technician.”
They did say, if the vehicle does need a new transmission, it...
