If you have upgraded to to aftermarket 18” wheels (preferably black) please post your pics and thoughts.

Are you happy with the swap?

curious if it makes a big difference.

our plan is to do the 1.5-2” lift and 31” bfg ko2s on our big bend.

The 18" dimensions that fit a BS are very limited tire options (BFG KO2 not available) so you might not get a ton of responses on this. I have an OB (standard 18) and my plan is to drop my 18 to a 17. Hope this helps you.

definitely helps. I just checked BFGs site and it does look like there is an option for the KO2s in 18” that are 30.5” (265/60r18)

wouldn’t these work with the right offset wheel and the lift?

From what I've heard if you get a 2" lift it will fit a 255/60/18 but will need some minor trimming.

My Big Bend came with 18" wheels, but I didn't like the style. I purchased KMC Alpine Gray wheels (also available in black) and Goodyear TrailRunner AT 235/60/18 tires and I'm very happy with the look and performance.

I also have 18” on OBX trim. Haven’t found many options, and none I feel confident in pulling the trigger. Lot of options in 17”. I have 1.5” Ready Lift and 235/65/18 Toyo AT3 I’ve actually considered plasti dipping stock wheels or vinyl overlays for chrome parts

Are the factory Black 17" on the FE the same wheel as the Maverick Fx4? The pics in this thread look to be the same.

I think they are close in design but the mavericks wheel is a tweaked design

From what I've heard if you get a 2" lift it will fit a 255/60/18 but will need some minor trimming.
According to this instagram post. The 265 60r18 fits with no trimming on the 2 inch lift. Ive been toying with the idea of the 265 65r18 (32 inch diameter) but not sure I want to go with the trimming route and potential for rubbing.

There's also video of this truck running through sand and puddles on this Instagram page where it's kinda bumpy and no sound of rubbing in the video.

Cooper and Mickey Thompson both make tires in these sizes. On here now searching to see who has run them. According to the rangerlifts site, the 255 75r17 fits with trimming which is approximately 32 inch tire.
