Wishful thinking but I’m hoping they just release the car to me when it shows up since there is no available remedy for the recall yet…
If they don’t, I’m moving on.
This is what I’m getting:

Have you called them? There have been plenty of instances where customers have been screwed over with their custom order being sold to someone else when it shows up at the dealership
I did notice that in the Ford Pass app, there isn’t a notification of recall for mine like there was with the fuel line recall. It’s against federal law but I’m hoping they just let me take the car without the recall being repaired. I can’t wait another 3-4 months.
If there is one thing I’ve learned through this ordeal, it’s that Ford is not well-managed, and does not manage situations well. I’m not sure what is going on, but I do know that they have not yet fixed any of the brake recalls because they don’t have a solution to the problem yet, and as far as...
Same. If I have to wait until April - June then I’m just going with my original plan of a 4Runner which is both a better car and less wimpy.
At this point I’m willing to bite the bullet and pay more.
Speaking of recalls, the brake pad issue is now appearing on ETIS and NHTSA, so I may not be able to take delivery for a while ?
Per NHTSA the parts are not anticipated to be available until the second quarter of this year
In my case, my car was “built” on 6/15/2021. From there it sat on the factory lot until the last chip it needed was installed on 11/11/2021. It continued to sit because of the fuel line recall, which was repaired around 12/3/2021. The status remained “In Production” until a week ago.
It’s...
Also the “Activate Vehicle” button on the FordPass app has been available this whole time I’ve been waiting. I know other people have indicated that it means theirs will be arriving soon but I really don’t think that’s the case.
That would be yours truly. The status finally updated on Monday from “In Production” to “built and arranging shipment” (even though it already had a build date of 6/15). Delivery estimate moved from 1/4 to 2/1.
It seems that with the 2022s rolling out left and right, they’re finally getting...
Spoke to my salesman a few days ago. I was originally told on 11/24, when I put a non-refundable deposit on an in-transit unit that my BS would arrive on 11/28.
I’ve been pressing them on why my Bronco is still showing as “in production” (build date shows 6/15) if it was shipped and expected to...
