This genuinely surprises me given the numerous posts about people having all kinds of issues with their models.
But yeah, I can attest to the fact that Jeeps are unreliable messes. My Grand Cherokee Overland got to 60,000 miles until there was total electrical failure.
Yeah I’ve checked NHTSA for the recall. It’s not showing up yet but I’m certain it’s included. It affects all Bronco Sports that don’t have a vacuum sensor in the brakes, which mine doesn’t.
Ford isn’t expected to start notifying Bronco Sport and Escape owners until January. I think they’re in...
I’ve checked the ETIS before but I’m not sure where it tells you what has and hasn’t been installed. Is it the Last Checked column? The RCM shows 11/11/2021 for Last Checked. All the rest are 6/14/2021.
The FDM recall was repaired on December 3rd.
I’m certain it’s on Stop Ship status because...
Correct, non-refundable. Could I go buy something else instead? Yes. The issue is that I refuse to gift this dealership $500 as an award for them lying about the arrival date of my car, which has been sitting in the Mexican sun for 6 months now. Meaning who knows what shape it will be in when or...
I reserved it last month under the impression that it would arrive November 28th. This is what I was told, that it was on its way to the lot. And clearly they weren’t honest about it. Now I don’t have a car and apparently won’t for a long time. They won’t give my money back either.
It was...
Same. April order, June build. Really not sure why these have been left to rot while models built well after have already been delivered.
Huge botch job by Ford.
My understanding is that there’s been another recall for the brakes on all Bronco Sports built prior to November. If yours hasn’t shipped yet, it’s not going to for quite a while
Thanks. After checking this morning, the recall has been cleared from both ETIS and NHTSA. Wondering if the delivery date was pushed back because of the brake pad recall that was announced.
I’ll try to pry more info out of my dealer later but I’m not holding my breath.
This will be, or would have been, my first Ford. I clearly made the wrong choice. Mine was built 6/15 and has been stuck at the factory ever since. It is still awaiting replacement parts for the FDM recall, and now this? Not to mention the wide-spread, various other problems people are having...
Mine was ordered 4/10
Production 6/14
Built 6/15
Tracker still says In Production so I’m assuming it’s still sitting there, even though my dealership says it’s In Transit.
Not sure why I was given an estimated delivery of 12/4 if it hadn’t even shipped yet. That just got pushed back to...
According to the tracker, mine is still in production. It went into production on 6/14 and was built on 6/15. Up until today, the estimated delivery was 12/4. It’s now been pushed back to 1/3/2022.
The ETIS says: Outstanding Field Service Actions
21S38 - FUEL DELIVERY MODULE (FDM) LINE LEAK...
Thanks. I guess my next question is how accurate is the estimated delivery date on the Ford tracker?
This is all so confusing. The status still says “In Production”, but it was built on 6/15. It doesn’t say it’s been shipped but like I said there is an estimated delivery and my dealership site...
Has anyone experienced your dealer lying to you about the ETA of your BS?
There were none on the lot last week so I put a deposit on one that was in transit. I was told by the dealership that it was going to be delivered 11/28 (yesterday) which is weird because they aren’t open on Sundays...
