If you buy the extended warranty, you should be fine with the first year vehicle. Remember you can negotiate the price of the warranty. After being burned several times, I always buy it now. I sell my vehicles before I get to 100k miles so the extra $1000 or so is worth it to me to have coverage...
We have seen tons of videos and pics about the bronco sport now but no real reviews. I thought I remembered hearing that the real reviews (not just the “first look” ones) were embargoed for some period of time. With people taking deliveries now, shouldn’t we be seeing these reviews now? Did I...
It’s nice to hear the quality felt good. The escape felt really cheap, but I had heard they were going to try and improve the materials on the sport. Sounds like they did.
You can get the hybrid on a supercrew XL 4x2 for $44k or around $47k for 4x4. There’s always a ton on incentives on f150’s too. I’d imagine you could get the supercrew xl 4x4 for right around $40k which is about the same price as a loaded badlands. The plugs in the bed will also be handy if you...
I believe it’s rumored that it will be called timberline instead of fx4. I’ve been waiting for the 2021 explorer build and price to come up to hopefully shed some more details on it, but the B&P came up the other day and it and the king ranch explorer weren’t on it yet. I really enjoy the size...
I watched the show and this bronco sport looked pretty cool. The wheel and tire combo they used look really good. I said it with the yellow trail rig concept and I’ll say it again here, the sport looks so much better with a lift and bigger tires. I’m starting to think they should also add a...
I like the idea of a hood scoop but wish it was better incorporated with the rest of the hood. A simple scoop like on the Jeep 392 concept would look good.
The documentation you provided from Ford is a bit misleading. They provide a picture of the keypad but then discuss keyless entry, which are two different things. The keyless entry definitely requires you to have the keys and it senses you are near the vehicle like the documentation says then...
I have this in my current vehicle, all you have to do is touch it and the numbers will light up and are ready to use. No key needed (which would kinda defeat the purpose of having a keypad if you already had the keys nearby).
looks like the base doesn’t get the keypad. I guess that’s why they...
Don’t all sports come with an integrated keypad standard? Funny to see that they offer the cheap looking one as an option. Pretty good selection of other accessories. The light bar looks pretty cool.
The escape and bronco sport have about the same ground clearance.
Escape (all trims) - 7.8”
BS Base and Big Bend - 7.8”
BS Outer Banks - 7.9”
BS Badlands (w/ optional 29” tires) - 8.8”
the BMW X1 has 7.2”.
I have the ford liners in my explorer and they actually fit much better than the weather techs in my other vehicle. I’m sticking with the ford liners.
I actually like the navy and gray interior. I think it would look best with a silver or white exterior, but if it’s as dark as it appears in the photos posted above, I think you will be ok with the alto.
Works on big bend but both outer banks and badlands get the warning to remove the other package. If it’s fine on the big bend, it has to be a glitch.
I saw those today too. Wish there was a visual representation of what they looked like.
I also noticed that if you want to get ford copilot 360 assist+, it requires you to remove the trim specific package (ex badlands package). That’s gotta be an error right?
