Another unpopular opinion, I wish the seats were all leather. I don’t care for the material (suede, microfiber, whatever it is) at the top of the brown leather. The badlands seats do look better in person though.
I’d really like to see both the outer banks seats in person. I think I would like...
It seemed a bit darker, but again it was overcast and rainy so it was hard to really tell. I’ve seen a bunch of pictures where it looks pretty light so I’d want to see it on a sunny day before I made a decision.
My local dealer had a cactus gray big bend and an Area 51 badlands. Unfortunately these were both in the show room so I didnt get to drive either.
Colors:
Cactus gray is not for me. It definitely has the green tint. If you are fan of that, then you will like it. Area 51 was ok. I’d have to see...
I was originally a big fan of the black roof, but the more I see these big bends, the more I think the body colored roof looks the best, especially in the white. It looks really good with the white bronco in the grille.
You can get a ranger tremor (it slots between fx4 and raptor) for 2021.
The next gen ranger comes out as a 2023 model year (I think) and it should bring the raptor here as well.
Man, you should take a look at the new f150 tremor. It sure does look sweet! Don’t think it will be on sale by the time you wanna buy though. If it could fit in my garage, it would probably be my next vehicle.
I read several reviews with overheating issues so it wasn’t limited to just one vehicle. There was a badlands which was driving in the sand, and an outer banks which was going up a modest incline. It seems like this is a common issue for all crossovers when they go off road. Several here have...
here are my takeaways from reading a ton of articles.
1) badlands is legit. Many reviews called it the best in its segment.
2) 2.0 is legit
3) 1.5 is ok but had trouble on several of the obstacles where the badlands did not. (This seems to be from several things, lack of power, lack of drivers...
Here is the auto start section from the owners manual. It describes a few situations where it won’t engage. I always have max AC on in my car so the auto start never engages. This works as long as the max ac is on, regardless of the fan is on full blast or it’s lowest setting...
I wouldn’t worry about it. Just locking your doors will deter most criminals. If they really want your car though, they will get it whether it’s with electronics to steal RF codes or a hammer to break your window.
My dealer has one available for sale too. Bummed It will be a couple of weeks before I can go and check it out.
that white looks really good, especially with the white roof on the BB.
