Hmm. If it's really discolored and dry, I'm guessing you drove thru something that exacerbated tire bloom. Anyone near have a pool with a street level drain? (Salts and such can promote bloom)... Keep us posted!

Old thread, but I use a tool roll (canvas that I've had forever) - fits very nicely in foam cutout.

After 1 month, the entire family is sold on 360+ and the 2.0 I do add a splash of higher octane... with that, merging onto the Grand Parkway with 4 adults and some stuff is no issue at all.

One more thing - at first on/ off cycle after adding climate, the center screen animation is a fade on/off Ford logo. The Bronco animation comes back after the 2nd restart...

It's probably the foam material rubbing as the flap moves. Short of taking dash apart, there's not really anything to do. DO NOT spray any lubricant into vents - that will just make grit and dust gather, and make things worse...
