For a lot of manufacturers using those features as an upgrade or as Bronco Sport has done with badging....one gets all the cool toys at a premium...but all have the tech buried in the programming. With Forscan or a technician you can unlock a lot of features but most have no.idea...or.no idea how.
Very true, makes sense to me. & I suspect when it’s all software nowadays this will probably only increase. I recall on my 07 F150 it actually had the factory nav but lacked Sirius. That was a part number module then to add, though thankfully plug & play. I suspect nowadays that’s even a forscan thing since the chips must already all be there.

One of the Forscan gurus had the bronco sport start up screen on his Fseries truck before the first sport was ever produced. I believe....it was part of the latest sync update and he figured out how to.load it in the truck...tech is crazy like that

Yup, works good. One of the first things i checked when i got mine.

My last car, a '17 MKZ, had it. Had an issue, however - all the windows would go down, but everything except the front passenger would go back up. the interior controls worked, and obviously the signal worked, but it baffled the service mechanic on why that specific window wouldn't wirelessly roll back up. He even switched the radio receiver from the driver side to the passenger and it still didn't work.

It was a whole big ordeal to have the issue fixed, but thankfully all covered under warranty.
