Very true, makes sense to me. & I suspect when it’s all software nowadays this will probably only increase. I recall on my 07 F150 it actually had the factory nav but lacked Sirius. That was a part number module then to add, though thankfully plug & play. I suspect nowadays that’s even a forscan thing since the chips must already all be there.For a lot of manufacturers using those features as an upgrade or as Bronco Sport has done with badging....one gets all the cool toys at a premium...but all have the tech buried in the programming. With Forscan or a technician you can unlock a lot of features but most have no.idea...or.no idea how.
