  1. Hood Deflector = Hood Bounce / Flapping

Letting the Dealer install mine next Thursday. If I get the "bounce" or vibration, it will be up to them to fix it.
  2. Puget Sound Bronco Sports

That is close by for sure ! Congrats, looks good. I am seeing a few others in the area, would be nice to get together at some point in time. Already thinking about a day at the Off Rodeo in Moab for next fall.
  3. Hood Deflector = Hood Bounce / Flapping

Once Ford gets my windshield in, I am going to have one installed by the dealership, then if I have "bouncing issues" they will have to fix it.
  4. Waving white flag - I think I'm done Ford

On a more serious note, I hope you are able to get things worked out. I am going through an annoying situation getting a replacement windshield for my brand new Outer Banks, not nearly as complex as yours, yet I can't believe how difficult Ford makes this process.
  5. see ya

Nice setup. I really like the latch/locking mechanism on the drawers. If you don't mind, pricing was about the same as the other solutions on their site? Did they source a vehicle to get measurements, or did you help the process with measurements and template? Any concern with access to the...
  6. Waving white flag - I think I'm done Ford

I'd go Tesla. I understand they have a most awesome off road vehicle.
  7. Old vs new

Thank you for posting this, very good info. I did notice that when I did my first fill up Tuesday, I had to position the pump fill to allow the gas to flow freely, and when it was done, I felt some resistance, I don't know if that is how the "capless" fill works, or if I just need to adjust the...
  8. Does anyone know of complaint escalation beyond the Ford Customer Experience people?

Had another very good chat with the GM today, I mentioned Safelite and that they gave a 3/15 date for an OEM windshield, along with a (hope you are sitting down) cost of $1700 including calibration. The GM explained the Safelite, because windshields IS their business, probably has a...
  9. Old vs new

Did my first fill up Tuesday after work, took a long drive yesterday, freeway and roads with very few stop signs or lights, in my 2025 Bronco Sports Outer Banks. Showed 33.6 mpg for the entire day. My first two weeks, short trips mostly in city, was 26.5, still happy and much better than my...
  10. Does anyone know of complaint escalation beyond the Ford Customer Experience people?

Thank you, interesting reading. Too bad that the team does not monitor here any longer. Spoke with the GM at my deal today, he agrees this is a bad look for Ford, and he will try to get more info. While I had him on the phone I mentioned the disconnect with the Build site and power folding...
  11. Does anyone know of complaint escalation beyond the Ford Customer Experience people?

I picked up my new 2025 Bronco Sport on the 19th of February, unfortunately it had a rock crack in the windshield. Due to miscommunication at the dealership, the windshield did not get ordered until this past Monday, that is not Ford's fault, the issue now is that we can't even get an ETA on a...
  12. Old vs new

I have had a Blue CX-5 since 2013, last one was a Signature Turbo, not on purpose just a deal I could not pass up in 2022. Had a CX-50 on order, for several reasons looked at the Bronco Sport. In the end, for me, much better value for the money. Even for $80 per year, the out of cell range...
  13. Did a Rock Hit Your Windshield, or Did Your Windshield Hit a Rock?

This is NOT funny, not one bit, nope. My brand new Eruption Green Outer Banks showed up Wednesday the 19th, driven up from a dealer a bit over an hour South of me. Getting close to the dealer, and for me to pick up, a rock found the windshield. Rather than wait for the replacement I took the...
  14. Old vs new

Interesting thread, I just came to a Bronco Sport Outer Banks from a 2022 Mazda CX-5. The "shift dial", my hand still reaches for shifter LOL. Heck if an old guy like me can get use to THAT, the rest is a piece of cake. I do miss my Heads-up display, and I sure would like a warning that says...
  15. 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands Power Folding Mirrors?

Well, found 2 more nits to pick. Am I the only one to notice just how bad the color rendition is on the 360 cameras? My Blue as Blue Mazda looks Green and my wifes Sunshine Yellow Ford Focus looks like Mustard. Worse, though, when my car was being delivered to the dealer last Wednesday a rock...
  16. 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands Power Folding Mirrors?

Add to that the confusion that Ford didn't even know when I called them last week, all is just speculation and smoke. Now I need to find something REALLY important to complain about, just give me a bit of time, my Bronco isn't even a week old yet.
  17. Love my Bronco Sport....but : )

C'mon, lets be serious: Just one possibility. You might win the rally, but I will sleep better.
  18. 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands Power Folding Mirrors?

That was me who mentioned the theTech Package+ is $100 more than the old Tech Package (no +). As to paying for the mirrors, take the CMS as an example, $195 if you order with the car, as I recall the parts along if you want to put it in later is close to $1500. So I don't think you can equate...
  19. Adding Locking Storage under the Cargo Management System Cover, locking the top down

One issue, dang locks rattle, need to add some padding on the eyes !
  20. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Well, having the car for 3 days now, I got my first major project done, adding locking storage. Locking Storage under Cargo Management System Here are a couple of pictures: First, in and open ... Now closed and locked .... Some finish work to finish, but all the essentials in. I feel...
