FYI mine doesn't seem to have any sort of towing mode added. No prompts on the dash or center screen when lights are connected, and nothing feels different while driving.
The dealer I went to said the same thing, they wouldn't give me an exact quote but said it could take a day or more. I decided to take my chances and thankfully it ended up only being 2 hours labor.
They charged me $280 total. They tucked the 4-pin connector up against the receiver tube. Not much slack in it though, so I have to use an extension in order for my trailer connector to reach.
Averaging 27.8 MPG over 2500 miles according to the dash. Premium gas, 50/50 city/highway. I have seen as high as 31 MPG on the trip computer (I reset Trip 1 after every fill up).
Looking to buy the full-size spare tire that comes with the factory tow package. I am also willing to trade with anyone who wants to swap for theirs for the compact spare and lower load floor. I'm located in Connecticut but willing travel.
Thanks,
Got the Curt hitch installed today. A few notes:
The bumper cutout needed to be much taller than Curt's instructions suggest.
The hitch blocks one of the mounting holes for the fabric liners on each side, so you need to finagle them back into place.
The access holes are just barely big enough...
My Curt hitch arrived today, ordered it on March 1st. I'll be having it installed next week along with the Ford wiring harness, will post an update after that.
I’m just sharing my personal experience, they are not great compared to my previous vehicles. If you like the tires then feel free to keep running them.
Mine is also a Big Bend with the 18” wheels. IMO the Primacy tires are mediocre in the rain, and not good at all in the snow or on dirt roads. I have not tried them on sand.
Assuming you still have the stock Michelin Primacy A/S tires, you will probably want to swap them out. They're not great on anything other than dry pavement.
It's all electronic. The computer will automatically apply the brakes to individual wheels when it detects trailer sway.

One-touch up and down on driver's window (I've never had a car that didn't have one-touch in both directions, drives me nuts).
Shark fin antenna.
LED brake/signal/reverse lights.
Option for 16" wheels.
Wireless Apple CarPlay.
Option to disable cornering lights.
More towing capacity.
These are...
Ford has one in the accessory catalog for $110, see part number FT1Z-15A416-A. I picked one up from my local dealer the other day, just waiting for my hitch to come in so I can have them both installed together.
