  5. Dents - Somebody Please Chime In

    As mentioned, lighter materials. My 2011 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI had three dents from acorns in the fall. My 2014 Escape had a door ding from a highway rest stop. And from a shopping cart. The supermarket paid for paintless dent removal.

    Welcome. What year? You can look up Motorcraft part numbers at places like rockauto.com and tascaparts.com and compare for both engines.

  12. Broke in the bottle opener.

    I cut my finger pretty good once on a twist off battle cap. If it doesn't very easily come off, I use an opener. Carry one that is a turtle on my keyring. The feet are screwdriver hesds, too.

    Fordtechmakuloco recommends that, too. Has video on it. Open the bleeder when you push the caliper piston in. Drain a little of the cooked fluid out.

    These two are really easy DIY, too. The cabin filter is now in much easier to access than on my previous 3G Escape. It's very easy to swap out. Lots of Youtube videos on the cabin air filter. Cabin air filter is every 20k. Engine air filter is every 30k.
