One more question. If i read the configurator & eSourcebook correctly, to get navigation, you have three options.
Buy the $795 Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 package. Ouch!
Use Apple CarPlay
Use a Garmin
Is this correct? Beyond adaptive cruise control, do any of you think it is worth it? It seems...
i'm switching from FE to BL+BL. Now I have to choose wheels & tires. I want the 235/65R17 A/T Off-Road Tire. So what about wheels?
Question: Which wheels do you like? The Low Gloss Aluminum Wheel (Net cost: $300) or the Painted Pockets Wheels (Net cost: $495).
I'm not sure why the difference...
Just got off phone. My dealer said two things. 1. I should just go in and reserve the BL+BL and tow, wheels, etc. And 2. please do not cancel the FE. as he has someone else who would like to get it instead. He would refund me the $100 reservation fee. So that is the way i am going to go.
I would guess that is the "Trail Control" button. "effectively cruise control for off-roading. It maxes out at up to 20 mph going forward, or 6 mph in reverse, and leaves the Bronco Sport to handle the throttle and the brakes. The driver, then, can focus on steering. There, an optional off-road...
That’s what we are thinking too. Plus it is not such a long climb down when you have to go out in middle of night :)
gotta look for a mattress. But I suppose wait until we have the vehicle to see what interior dimensions are IRL
My wife, who has a great eye, says that if the gray is actually a greeny-gray like in this picture, it will look good. The colors go together really well. I’ve learned to trust her.
For me, it was the other way around. Looking at the details of the BL Package, it had almost everything the FE had. BL+BL is missing the blue leather and decals and black painted aluminum wheels; these cannot be added. And BL+BL is missing some items that can (should) be included as add-ons...
OK, I am pulling the plug on the First Edition, going to Badlands + Badlands, 235/65R17 tires, tow package, cargo management system.
I'm really glad for this forum to help in thinking through this. Ford has not exactly made it easy or clear. But I think this gives all the options that matter...
So if i understand this correctly, the Trail Rig has an extra one-inch lift (since the BL already has a one-inch) plus 31 inch tires while the Off-Roadeo Support has the 31 inch tires on the existing one-inch lift. Is that correct?
Not being an off-roader (yet), do you have a preference? Just...
I have pinged my local dealer. Unfortunately, they tell me they know less about this than I do because of this forum! So i'm not sure whio will be doing the clarifying!
I agree. They are doing a good job of making me second-guess decision about FE. I don't really know what is an authoritative document. Example: the eSourceBook that was shared, page 75, shows under-seat as standard on both BL and FE.
And now, looking at the Badlands Package (96X), it includes...
Strange about homelink. My 2012 Focus even has something like that!
Rain sensing wipers are on the OB only. Handy in the PNW (we have a bit of rain here) but not critical.
The esource book is an awesome reference on differences, esp at end. Lots of tradeoffs to consider. It seems like for like, the price is close. roof strength at speed might be a determiner. Likely I will stick with FE and look at https://gofastcampers.com/tents/
