Using a multi-meter this morning - before starting battery read 12.20V - after starting battery read 14.78V at idle. Good to know charging is immediate - days of old alternators needed to spin over 2,000 RPM to charge.
Yep there too - Only Archie the wiener dog sits back there so never noticed it. Of course the fun way to eliminate the ASS is to run in sport mode all the time - that's what I did until the ASS Eliminator gizmo arrived in the mail.
Does that require the use of fish tape - if so just bought some 'reel' inexpensive fish tape on the river. Knew it would have many uses - could used one years ago.

This can happen anywhere. Normal little city, sidewalks no derelict buildings etc. Neighbors car parked on paved driveway a week or two on vacation come home and the wiring is chewed up like corn on the cob. Several thousand dollars damage and tow bill. Before this soy based stuff too.

I have mine set to remember the last climate control settings for remote start.
Tried it today with Max A/C the last setting and letting it run a couple minutes before hopping in.... 90 degree weather sitting in the direct sun. Much cooler inside by then and blowing cold.
From original purchase the service order shows 1 hour labor hitch and wiring @ $120 an hour. Trailer hitch kit @ $220.
The wiring kit should be a separate parts price.
But no additional charge to me this week for the parts or install. Dealing with a the small town dealership. *PRICELESS*...
