  1. Things you like or were surprised to find on your Bronco Sport

Yep - The wife's new Subaru Outback has that and auto up/down all windows etc like the Bronco Sport. Not enough knobs in the Outback now - always poking at the screen.
  2. Things you like or were surprised to find on your Bronco Sport

Wait there is a front camera - gonna love it when it arrives....
  3. Things you like or were surprised to find on your Bronco Sport

Yet to receive it - but the suede leather was a surprise - and the rotating knob of a shifter. The peppy power of the 2.0L in a test drive was really nice. I drive a 6.2L Silverado now - used to more cubes and more weight. Of course the the auto stop/start is a surprising pain on new cars...
  4. Auto Start / Stop not autoing.

Installed the Auto start eliminator today on the wife's Subaru Outback - a little more involved install than for a BS - works like a charm. Will definitely do the same for the BS when it is finally rolled of the transporter.
  5. Jacking rear of vehicle from hitch receiver mount?

Could try 2x lumber to drive onto and raise the tires enough to get up the ramp. Heck the Uhaul car transporter video recommends that for low vehicles. Really don't like ramps - they like to slide - and are not for working under - you still need jack stands.
  6. Recall : Tires

    Michelin Primacy surprisingly.
  7. Auto Start / Stop not autoing.

Exactly - But might be the reason the ASS is hidden on cold days for some who posted here about their ASS not working on cold days.
  8. Auto Start / Stop not autoing.

Has anyone tried turning on the rear window defroster and seeing if that keeps the ASS off. Works on our 2024 Subaru Outback - problem is you have to push that button every time. Orientation training gal showed us that. Subaru does an hour orientation after delivery for all the electronics in...
  9. Fog Light Covers from Lamin-X! - Affordable.

Bought their 8x8 sheet enough for 2 cars and cut my own circles. The BS is still in the shipping stage BS but practiced on the wife's Outback. Just have to go easy and work from the center round and round to avoid wrinkles, & bubbles. Worked best dry for me on the convex curved lenses - wet...
  10. Bigger engine for BS

Great post - Our other daily driver is a 2024 Subaru Outback 2.4L - rated at 260 hp @ 5,600 rpm / and the same 277 lb-ft of torque but @ just 2,000 rpm! - Heck it idles that fast when cold. Even being over 200 pounds heavier it is just as peppy as the Bronco Sport. The Subaru 2.4L must have a...
  11. HRG 1.5 inch Lift Installed - 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands

Crimany they even list a 2.5" Ultimate lift.
  12. HRG 1.5 inch Lift Installed - 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands

Wondered because the top review indicates it firms up the ride in a good way....... "........and the ride is nice and firm. "
  13. Photo Dump - Atlas Blue vs. Velocity Blue

Nice comparison in this older thread thanks. The 2024 Subaru Outback has a nice bright Geyser Blue we really liked, but available only in the Wilderness package. These bright blues plus black roof remind us of the Laser Blue Metallic with black roof 2010 Mini Cooper we bought new and really...
  14. Keep my Bronco Sport Big Bend or trade for hybrid Maverick

Great older post in this revived thread. Love the plywood pic - Love all the possible configurations of both the Bronco Sport and the Maverick - One way the Maverick could be better is if it looked like a Bronco Sport! 2024 Car and Driver article states: "Ford says the Maverick's 4.5-foot bed...
  15. Oh Where Oh Where Could My Baby Be

Will be interesting to see if it takes a month from the ship date as yours did last year. Just placed the deposit a week ago - was exactly how we would have optioned it less the hitch - color and all.
  16. New tires on my wife's Bronco Sport: Falken Wildpeak A/T

Went into the local Discount Tire today and asked for a quote on the BFG I thought I wanted - walked out with their recommendation of a quote for the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail 235/65R17. Ended up ordering the Falken tires from Ford to be installed at PDI when the Badlands arrives. The...
  17. Oh Where Oh Where Could My Baby Be

Always been a Chevy guy except for a couple of classic Fords - a '41 Ford truck and a '58 Ford Fairlane - but have my first new Ford of any kind on the way. A Bronco Sport Badlands. Dealer ordered: 9/10/23 Built: 3/16/23 Shipped: 3/22/23 Have seen 4 different delivery dates on Ford...
  18. My Maverick in Production

Love the Maverick trucks - grew up in the back of a banana yellow '70 Maverick and a red '72 Maverick. At least 8 of us "kids" learned to drive in that red Maverick. We visited Brazil in 2022 and trucks this size are the norm - Chevy Montana is one of them they talk about bringing to the...
