Wondering why my tires in the past few weeks are not showing the correct psi on the Ford app. They keep resetting back to some previous incorrect psi, always the same, when parked and cooled.
I have to drive for a bit, then the psi resets to what appears correct (of course by then, the tires are somewhat warm).
Any ideas?

On the center screen in your 2021 Bronco Sport check the version of Sync 3.4.xxxxxx

To find your Sync 3.4 Build Version (do not scan for updates):

Select SETTINGS tab, then
Select GENERAL tab, then
Select ABOUT SYNC tab

It will show the Build Version (latest is 23188 Product).

Then on your phone, check the version of the Ford App, latest for me on an iPhone is Ford app v6.9.0 (Android may be different IDK)

I’ve seen similar behavior reported in other Ford forums (Mach-E, F-150, etc.).

From what multiple users mention, the TPMS sensors typically don’t update while the vehicle is parked — they go into a low-power mode and only transmit once the vehicle starts moving again.

So the app ends up showing the last recorded value, which can make it look “wrong” when the tires are cold.

Once you drive a bit, it updates again and reflects the actual pressure.

My 25 sport sasquatch exhibits same. Instead of starting car I unlock with key fob after tires have cooled. Then wait a few minutes and check app and The tires are back to 33 where i set them. I do this when in my garage and seems to work, think the unlock wakes systems and sends lots of status stuff to app. Just my simpleton🤪 ideas.

No need to unlock with key fob to see updated tire pressures, on the Ford App Home Screen, using a finger swipe down from the top of the screen, it'll say "Updating" and when that is done tire pressure has updated in the Ford App

Im going to try that . hot dam it works haha. but I did find out you can't do it on the sevice screen, you have to be on the main screen which would explain why it never worked for me before, I was trying to refresh the tire psi while watch it.

Yep I said Home Screen and that’s the same as main screen

It would be nice to refresh on the service screen but it won’t

Use the screen data and FordApp data as a ”down and dirty” pressure reading and to know if you’ve got a leak. Real pressure checks should be done with a good, accurate, tire gauge.

Thanks! I can get it to reset if I start it using the Ford app. I'll try that too.

Thanks! One of the links mentioned that I can get it to reset if I start it using the Ford app. That worked!

Same here, it didn't work by refreshing the Service screen but it did by refreshing the Main screen.
