I've had my Badlands dealer serviced for the past 4 years going on 5 and find the cost very reasonable.
Though I have not had any big repairs other than needing to have the 4WD module replaced, Ford did a good will gesture for that.

Anyone ever Had the Ford Mobile Service Change Your Oil? If so did they warm the engine up before they drained the old oil?

Hmm, had it done for the first time last week I don’t think he warmed the engine up? But can’t say for sure as I was warming my own engine up with coffee and watching out the window.

I was told about mobil service last year and I could do it if it was easier for me. you have to watch what service it is as there are a couple things they can't do because they don't have a few peices of specialized machiens in the van, but other than that they can do it all. I think trans drain and fill was one they can't do and there was somthing else.

I prefer just waiting at ford and enjoying their fancy cappachino machien.

Honestly, it takes focus to get everything put tight and right during a service even in ideal shop conditions. As much as I enjoyed not sitting in the dealer waiting room, I will probably have more confidence getting most future services in the shop rather than in my driveway. (Getting into my old codger years I suppose)

Good to know but I always thought it was best to warm the oil up before draining it and changing it. I wonder if You contacted them if they would tell You if they warmed the oil up before changing it?

Don’t know if a warm up would make much difference with these new light weight (0/20, 5/20) oils they’re pushing for these engines 🤪

My motorcycle manual says warm it up before changing the oil. My F150 manual says warm it up and wait a certain amount of time before checking the oil level. The time is fairly vague like a few minutes.

I take a short ride 5-10 mins to operating temperature. You're just letting the engine "mix" the oil to ensure sediment is in suspension and warming it up to help it drain.
