In my experience, it’s OnTrac, hands down. They make DHL look like the epitome of efficiency. I’d pay extra just to see them put out of business permanently.

My personal ranking for my delivery area is:
  • Amazon Logistics
  • FedEx
  • USPS
  • UPS
  • DHL
  • OnTrac

Yep …and sometimes FedEx is #1 and sometimes is #6 tied with bottom feeder OnTrac.. very random with FedEx over the past few years

Most of my package are delivered by Amazon Logistics and UPS … UPS has improved over past 2 years so often also is a #1

USPS is Ok but often is a longer delivery time so I’d say USPS is in 4th

(I’ve only used DHL a few times and those few times were good)

FedEx has gone down the tubes nationwide. I can tell you when my package hits a certain hub in another state how many more additional days it will be delayed. (Texas and Utah) Ever since Covid19 they are a completely different company. Amazon is leaps and bounds better than any of them.

Last two times I had dealings w/Fedex went like this:
1. @ 12lbs of cheese products that were shipped “overnight express” in a styrofoam box w/dry ice arrived three days later in a broken, uncooked, box.

2. DVD of software arrived w/DVD in pieces and tire tread marks across the package where driver drove over it.

won’t ever use FedEx!

Living in a rural area this time of year, I believe they all are slipping. Just today: USPS never went down our road - no one got mail. The UPS delivery was noted as "left at garage door".......we have 9 of them so we had to play hide and seek at 7:30P in the dark. The FedEx guy just wraps the packages in a plastic bag and leaves it by the road, which is nice when it snows and blows - todays package blew off into a pasture. Seems like when things get busy in the delivery world, customer service goes by the wayside. Another service we pay for as a consumer that doesn't seem to matter to the delivery company.

We had a shipping & receiving manager create a Fed Ex wheel of excuses board. Some of the excuses were "Ice on Memphis runway in July" , "Typhoon in the Pacific" , "Earthquake in Turkey" . Everytime the Fed Ex driver was late he'd spin it right in front of them. We get 3 Fed Ex shipments per day & he'd spin it every time they were late. Every time we got a new or substitute UPS driver they'd get their pictures taken with it. We had some UPS big wigs come to see it. Unfortunately Mike passed away a few years ago but we still have the wheel.
