Good afternoon. I broke the driver's side outer seat cover; the plastic trim down where the seat adjustment is. (LJ6Z-7862187-LA)
It's not too expensive, but I'm having trouble getting it off.

Would anyone have a moment to share that section from the service manual?

Thank you very much for your time,
Steven

@Steven 6095 Can you please post how you got the broken part off and installed the new LJ6Z-7862187-LA part?

@rugedraw

I located the 2 part #s shown below for the drivers side seat - plastic cover both parts say they fit a 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands

Does the Ford info you have access to state that N1PZ-7862187-LB is the up-to-date revised part? I can message you my VIN# if you need that to confirm that I should purchase the N1PZ-7862187-LB part.

Outer Cover, Ford
Product ID: LJ6Z-7862187-LA

Outer Cover, Ford
Product ID: N1PZ-7862187-LB

The plastic cover is prone to breakage so I would hope the revised part maybe is a stronger more reliable part but that’s just me hoping

Also, do you access to the installation instructions? The prior post shows that the drivers seat should be first removed but a cursory look says that should not be necessary?

In this case, I cannot be of much help. The access I have to PTS/OASIS is for a sales job role, so I am limited as to what I can see on the service/parts side of the website. The parts catalog is one of the things I cannot access. The section that shows you how to remove that piece does not show any part numbers, but in case it helps, here you go.

Edit: Didn't notice it was posted before.

Edit #2: Or, remove the part your truck has on it now, see what P/N it has and order the same one.

Are you sure that is for a 2022 Bronco Sport? The PDF that you attached says 2022 Bronco and shows a Bronco in the pics
Ah, maybe I grabbed the wrong folder. I have both sets of PDFs. I'll just delete the attachment since someone posted the other version.

The section that shows you how to remove that piece …
that section refers to:
Remove the front seat.
Refer to: Front Seat (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).

if not a lot of trouble can you please post the 501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation PDF?

If I don't get on my laptop tonight, I'll post it tomorrow when I get to work.

It's remarkably like the wrong PDF I put up, but with a Sport line drawing. Here's all the Front Seat PDFs for section 501-10A, since invariably Google will eventually send someone here.
